"A Fireman...an Astronaut..."

No, silly, an inker.

The writer writes the script.
The artist draws the panels.
The inker choses the colors and fills in the panels before printing.

Or are you making a sly refrence to "Chaseing Amy"?

Now I'm entering a new phase of life. I'm trying to get back into writing (see my survior thread as a jump start back into it) and would still like someone else to bring home the bacon while I did it. I've been working since I was 9 years old, can't I retire now and do something I'd like for once?

From your response, Polite, I'd say a career as a writer would be extremely fruitful for you! Thanks!

Awww, Miss Cleo, you say the nicest things! Making me blush over here!

I've actually hooked up with someone here and we are trying to get a book started together. I'm very excited about it.

I performed pretty much everything you can imagine, and some I can't talk about for about 12 years. Like golf, plunging fire with a machinegun is a matter of how you slice it.
After that, life is pretty much a coasting thing.

Thanks Lost Cause. Soldier is an admirable career. *I* certainly appreciate all our men and women in the service.

Yes, Cleopatra, Queen of Upper and Lower Eygpt, beloved of Baast and Isis, Misstress of the Nile and assorted Lit Threads, object of affection to Ceasar, Mark Anonty, and some several thousand slaves, the perfect result of the mateings of six generations of Gods blessed brothers and sisters who married.....

But, of course, by now I've forgotten what I was saying yes to!

When I was a kid (OK a smaller kid!), I wanted to be either a cowboy rounding up stock all day and riding horseback or the proverbial fireman was choice number two. Now I have the horses, a few head of cattle, and can ride whenever I want.--AA

May I use this as my new sig line?

Sure, I just made it up off the top of my head, so correct the spelling if you do.

As you know, I'm trying to become a writer...;)
