With the sword now pointing to the earth, Taujiel walked closer to Catherine. "I understand the feeling. Oh and yes, i'm the heir." he took off his hood, revealing his fair beautiful face and gold-like hair. He brushed a twig from his cloak before speaking, this time more composed.
"And you're Catherine, the Firran who has taken up the duty of freeing her people, i admire your bravery and beauty." then noticing he was staring and deviating from his tasks he cleared his throat and became sober. "You've spoken with the Kiros Crodiles, i wish to know what they want by leaving the swamp and breaching into our forest."

Cathrina couldn't help but stare in awe at his face. He was beautiful. Coming to her senses she answered. "There useless, they only want power. I asked them and he said 'What makes you think it would be Abu different for your people under our rule? ' they want to unite the beast people and go against the skined ones."

"I see, then their intentions are impure. This forest belongs to the wood elves and the Firrans, now the original owners are the ones scavenging for food. Slaves and fugitives." Taujiel spoke with a heavy heart, his emerald orbs slowly turned red as his rage grew. He sighed and calmed himself, "if my people and your people ally we can rid the intruders of our land. You should see my father about it, though i doubt he'll be willing to release Elfheim's army."

At hearing his words, Cathrina almost wanted to hug him. "You would do this for the Firrans?" Her eyes sparkled, "I thank you" she bowed. And then looked at him, "Your father, why does he concern himself with us?"

"My father..." he began glancing around, his eyes roaming the hills and the thick bush around him. "...he believes that since the wood elves now have a place free of the intruders their is no need to go pushing them out. All he cares about is the safety of my folks, nothing more."
Taujiel couldn't help but feel that they were being watched. He continually glanced round and listened intently for every sound. Contended he turned his gaze back to the beauty before him.
"When i broached the subject with him, he told me that the human Noleon was not a threat to Elfheim, and so it was not in our place or interest to interfere with what happens to the Firrans. Now its different though, the beast of Kiros are now involved. If we can convince him that the swamp creatures are a threat to the forest, to Elfheim, then i believe he'll have a change of heart."

Cathrina couldn't help but wonder why he seemed to be worried about something, as he looked around. Yet she couldn't shake off the same feeling. "I believe the same. But I also believe that your threats are bigger. Noleon may try to reason with him first. And I think we need to get the the wolf people before Rakarn does, or Noleon." A branch broke in the distance. "Did you hear that?" She asked Taujiel.

Taujiel's arrow was already drawn and released before she could say "...that." a low noticeable groan was heard from the direction and Taujiel immediately raced up the hill towards it. Catherina followed swiftly beside him.
On getting to where the sound had come from, they found nothing but blood trail. Following it they ended up spoting the arrow on the soft grass, its tip covered in blood.
Taujiel hunkered and picked up the arrow, he brought the tip to his nose and smelled it.
"We had company," he said rising up. "And this isn't from an animal or human."

Her jagged sword out, She looked around. Nothing was in sight. Thinking it would've had to be elf. Or beast man. The humans were to ignorant to care of their surroundings. Perhaps something bigger was going on. "This could've been Rakarns men or Noleon, I couldn't have imagined it something else" Still staring at his beautiful eyes. She looked away. "I don't think there's anymore enemy's that come off the top of my head." She said sarcastically.

"Hmm, right." he nodded agreeably. "I'll take it back with me, if it's from a Crodile, then it could be just what we need to convince my father." Taujiel placed the arrow back in his quiver, bringing his head up he stared at her, unconsciously his eyes roamed her lithe body. She looked to him like a goddess, and at that moment he knew he had fallen for. Something that was stupid and foreign during this times.
Realising that he was staring Taujiel blushed and looked away, he started trodding down the hill, "we should make haste and leave this parts. It will get dark soon. Elfheim is just through that mirage, the waterfall."

When his face turned from hers she had a almost longing feeling. She had fallen for him. In the worst of times. She put away her sword. "Tis not best to stay out at dark" she agreed. She kept pace with him as they entered through the waterfall. "Whoa" she said at the sight of Elfheim.

Taujiel led her through the lustrous city, they walked side by side towards the giant castle.
The guards slightly bowed as he crossed the gates, and his presense was immediately announced to the king. Taujiel alongside Catherine went straight before the throne and fortunately for them they arrived when the council was deliberating on a matter.
"Greetings Father," Taujiel came before his father and knelt, he gently patted his shoulder and nodded approvingly. Taujiel stood back up and greeted the council, he then made his way to the center of the great hall where Catherine had been standing.
"I have with me a honored guest. You already know by now that she is a Firran, she's not just any Firran." he then turned his gaze from the king to her, admiration and respect glistening in it. "She is Catherine, their queen and savior," he looked back to the throne, "and she has something to say."

"Your majesty, I know the cause of the Firrans does not concern you, as with a lot other races. And that since they do your people no harm. But if you haven't heard, the Croc people of Kiros threaten every skin race. I have only recently escaped from their camp which lies on the outskirts of the jungle and forest. Some have been seen in yours. But there goal is not to free us. They want power, and they want to unite the beast races under theirs and...enslave the skinned ones. They care not for anything else but power. The Firrans would not be free but the same as they are now. I ask of you for your help against the beast of Kiros and Noleon. If I cannot get rid of them and we are forced under the crocs tribe. Then our race may not be the only one enslaved, but yours too." She noticed she was clenching and unclenching get hands. She awaited his response.

"Hmm." Archroweg took a deep breath then released. He glanced at his advisers and council leaders. His gaze finally settled on the cat.
"I have heard everything you said. You'll give us time to deliberate on it, meanwhile, i suggest you take a walk in our glorious city. Arnelion please escort Queen Catherine around the city till we send for her."
Arnelion nodded and bowed, he walked towards Catherine and motioned for her to follow him.
"Its ok." Taujiel reasurred her, she nodded and followed the chief guard outside. As the door of the large hall closed, King Archroweg questioned. "Taujiel, where last did you spot the swamp beasts?"

Cathrina walked out of the throne room and followed the guard. She tried to keep her mouth closed as she explored the beautiful Elven city. Meanwhile/ Morrigan walked to a slaver in the inn. She waved her hand. Knocking him out. At the 'plump' when the slaver fell over. 15-25 Firrans looked in Morrigans direction. She locked the doors. And stood on a wooden table. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm Cathrinas friend." At statement the worn Firrans looked up in hope. Morrigan smiled. "And we're leaving, I want every one of you to make a weapon in this room out of something. Then we're going out the back. I've killed the slavers there so the path should be clear but we must hurry, get to work" and with that everyone did. The chopped table legs with knives, etc. Morrigan watched and waited.

While Catherine and Arelion were strolling the city, a guard came up to them telling the Firran that the throne needed her presense.
"We have properly analysed this matter," Archroweg's voice boomed in the hall. "We'll aid in the battle but not now, what we shall do now is get our army ready for a full scale attack. The forest belongs to the wood elves and you the Firrans. We shall fight for it but we will also need the Firrans to aid. My son here shall accompany, rescue as many of your people as you can and train the ones that are able. By this time next month we shall start our campaign and then merge the both armies together. Is that okay by you?"

Cathrina bowed, "I thank you, as we speak my friend Morrigan leads a large hiest, to get many Firrans out today, if we can make it soon we can get more. I thank you again" She walked out of the Throne room with Taujiel behind. She turned to him. "We must hurry and help Morrigan. When we get there, I'll keep them distracted if you can get out as many as possible. When I can't handle anymore Slavers, I'll whistle. That means we got who we could. And it's time to go. Does that sound okay?"

"Did you say your friend Morrigan has just been there rescuing Firrans?" he asked as they made for the city's exit. She nodded yes.
"Then it'll be better if we delay a little, maybe give a day or two before attempting another rescue chance. If Noleon is as smart as i think he is, he'll tighten his defense at the very least and put a spy Firran among the ones rescued at the very most." he suggested.

Rakarn was in his command tents looking over his many reports and maps and then pushed them away with a disgusted sigh. He began to pace around his tent, his tail lashing violently behind him as he walked in agitation. Finally he summoned a guard to his tent and held his arms out. "Dress me in my chain and leather and bring me my lion skin robes. Make sure they are packed tightly against the water."

A few hours later the leader of the self proclaimed Krios Empire was slithering through the water with a ten man 'royal' honor guard, keeping pace on the roads was a group of fifty elite Crodile warriors with their captured prisoners from the human outpost they had sacked. Rakarn was wearing his armor, well oiled and, if it weren't for the murky eater, it would have been shining brightly. Strapped to his back was that massive greatsword, spread across the rest of his body were his various other weapons. He and the honor guard would take the waterways straight to Nolean's capital while the group on the road would take that route there, disarming at the first outpost they came to and giving up the human prisoners as a peace offering.

Rakarn had a plan.

"she should be held up in the inn preparing them. She hadn't smuggled out any from what I can see, are numbers are few. We only have about 100 men and women. We've had to kill quite a few in the capital. For being spy's, this is a a big hiest. Not a usual small one but big. We're getting 20. We haven't done a rescue in a few days. Morrigan can't get out of the city with 20 alone. She hasn't been seen leaving or we would have seen them now. She's still in the inn that means. We need to help her get out of there before they notice something's up." Cathrina explained.

Taujiel listened intently and nodded in agreement. "If that be the case, then we better hurry." he brought out a small wooden-like whistle from his pocket and blew. Moments later a horse came riding towards them.
The horse a white stallion was the only companion he carried back from the Allied kingdom. He named it Ajax and unlike other horses, Ajax could talk.
"This is Ajax," Taujiel introduced, "He's incredibly swift and can get you any where in record time." she gently ran her hands on his body, Ajax only neighed but refused to speak. Taujiel helped her unto the horse, then told her to hold tightly unto him.
"Hope you aren't afraid of speed?" he jested.

Cathrina arched her eyebrows in wonder, yet stepped up onto the beautiful white horse. Clutching onto Taujiels waist for support. Almost it sees like moments later they arrived in front of the slavers camp. She stepped of the horse. "Then inn is the building with the large stone chimney. Remember. Take the back way and when you hear the whistle, head back to the capital..and please be safe." With those words she ran off and jumped over the stone wall. She jumped atop a large building, "hey!" All slavers looked up. She jumped down. "how bout a fair fight" she winked all slavers charged at her, as she began to hack and slash.

Taujiel hurried towards the inn, as a wood elf he was incredibly light on feet and plus the distraction he didn't encounter any slaver. He followed the back door and cautiously entered the inn, not wanting to have another weapon pointing at his neck.
Taujiel was surprised by the number of Firrans he found in the room, surely more than a twenty. It was really a big heist. His gaze turned to the lady on the table who apparently was leading the operation.
On stepping further he felt something poking at his back. He swayed his head slightly to see a Firran pointing a wooden stake at his spine. Turning forward he realised everyone was now staring intently at him, some even growling and scowling.
"You must be Morrigan, my name is Taujiel, i'm with Catherine. Please i mean no harm." he said calmly.

Morrigan looked him up and down "Ah the royalty, to what due I owe this pleasure" she said a little sarcastically. "Look since we're kinda a large group we can't just sneak away and there's a lot of slavers here. Without further due get this group into the woods. Get them heading towards the capital, while I retrieve the rest. Then I'm burning this inn down. Come back when there on there way. And get another group IC retrieved. I'll be raiding a couple homes. Firrans, follow him!" The Firrans looked at him and stepped closer.

Taujiel didn't know what to say. He wasn't used to taking orders from women but knew he'd have to get use to it.
"Alright, lets go."
He led the Firrans into the woods and to their capital, through out the escape his heart wasn't at rest. It was filled with worry for his new friend. Catherine, the woman that has stolen his heart without trying.
Dropping the Firrans off at the capital, Taujiel climbed Ajax and hurried again towards Noleon's territory.

Morrigan grabbed 12 more Firrans before the whistle sounded. She ran out of the inn and rushed the Firrans out of the slavers camp. Turning back she cast a spell to set fire to the inn and ran. Cathrina saw the inn get lit. She impailed a slaver and ran. Right into a slaver. And looking down. A knife was stabbed into her stomach. She fell over. Clutching just above her belly button as the knife was ripped from her body. She gasped and took heavy breaths. As slavers started to surround Cathrina.
