Tho he had tossed her off, twas not like a used glove, fo rhe loved her and had expectations thatshe could not meet, so it was rather as a protective device, as the pain was massiveand he didnt sleep; He understood her pain, butwould rather have seen "no" used as the means to have not had the problem to begin with.
