'Lucas, honey... Just admit it. You're lost.'
Lucas felt a stab of annoyance at this. He loved his wife to death but she could really push his buttons sometimes... of course that's bound to happen after ten years of marriage.
'I'm not lost... It should be just up here on the right'
'You said that half an hour ago dear...' Irritated amusement filling her voice 'It's castle for goodness sake. How hard can it be to find!'
Lucas didn't see the humor. It may have only been a distant relative but a relative all the same that had died to leave this place to him. His Great-Uncle Bergan had recently passed away. Luckily Lucas had barely known him. All he had known was that this mysterious estranged family member was stupidly rich. He was shocked to find out how rich he truly was. Even more surprising was when he turned up for the reading of the will he found out that he had been left a castle! A bloody castle!
Now here he was. A week later, the keys to a Gothic era castle in his pocket, driving with his wife up some middle of nowhere road half way up a mountain. Funny how things go sometimes isn't it...
'Aha' He exclaimed as he drove round what seemed like the thousandth bend and saw a dark building loom before them. 'Told you it was here! Wow. Its looks even bigger than the photo...'
It really did. A 60 room gargantuan of a structure towered over them as they drove up the ridiculously long driveway and getting out of the car they both stared up at the imposing size of the thing. The door alone stood at least twice as tall as Lucas. And he wasn't exactly a short guy either.
