We have a whole generation who pats itself on the back for thinking it's smart, weaned on TV shows like the X-Files to never trust anyone or anything who are jaded yet naive at the same time. They think they know it all, yet have never seen true horror no real evil like people such as Saddam Hussein are capable of. Instead they grew up on rock and rap songs to hate their own countries and when they grew old enough didn't lift a finger to try and change it. Fatalistic, sarcastic, deluded people who think the very people who try and help them the most are their worst and most untrustworthy enemies much as a dementia stricken grandmother thinks her own children are out to get her money yet continually falls prey to the most basic scams from complete strangers they give their whole-hearted trust too. It’s like a whole generation of Alzheimers patients or something.
