i know it doesn't seem like i'm here very often...LOL but i am! lurking in the shadows, reading. anyway, i was drawn to the life from a dominant perspective and now have an opportunity to explore it from the submissive side. granted my interest can not be 24/7 or really anymore than scening online due to my circumstances. the person who broached the subject may well not be the best one to pursue it with as he has been my boy. his suggestion did open my mind to other possiblities though, got me to wondering. so now how best to investigate if not with him then with who...or is that whom? LOL. any suggestions on how someone might explore their submissive potential?

My background is similar to yours..I started out as a Top close to 10 years ago. Though I have never felt very submisive (as a rule, I still don't) 4 years ago I started dating a woman who broadened my horizons and brought out the *inner pet* .

Since the bottom is a new *thought* for you, I would explore all of your options carefully. The good thing about on-line play is having an out if things become too uncomfortable.

As for your ex boy, why not try it out and see, while you are looking around? In my case it was far easier to give up ontrol to someone I had a past with than it was for me to let go with an unknown person. True the dynamics might be strange but one never knows..

Nice to see you here again! Congratulations on taking the initiative to explore other facets of your personality and opening yourself to the possibiility there is more to you than you may have at first thought possible. You are the best judge of whether you should take this journey with the one who introduced the idea...could be good or bad depending on the present dynamics and how comfortable you would feel to let go. If you are pursuing it online only, perhaps advertising for an online interest would be the way to go. Either way, I am sure this will open up parts of you which will prove interesting.

as time passes it is important that we make the best of every moment. And being "stuck" is not a good one. You must pursue curiousities which may turn into fulfillment....I wish you the best and hope to hear from you. For some reason....you seem like a person who can draw others in.
