I used to have a loden cloth cape. Got lost somehow in between moves. I do have a burnoose, but it's not quite the same effect. And I would probably be arrested if I wore it around

I think I saw a photo of you in that cape, didn't I? I used to have a similar one, black crushed velvet, floor length. But it's long gone and anyway it made me look a little too Grim Reaper. If I wore it and pointed at someone, it was scary.

Well I was thinking more of thigh high black leather boots and a whip but ........

Yes you probably have I've used it in my Profile picture on Facebook. There used to be an advert on British television for Scottish Widows with a lady wearing a black one and mine was made by the same manufacturer. I've also got another in various shades of blue

An advert for Scottish Widows? That sounds like poetry material to me! What are they advertising for or is it the name of some product? Like he said, two countries separated by a common language!

I'm half considering offering a prize to the Lit denizen who most effectively pulls off the Cape, Poetry and Falcon stunt. My guess is that either Darkmaas or Harry would win. I would be most curious to see what sort of cape 1201 would come up with.
