A bit damp out

Yesterday we received some two inches of rain, one inch of that was between the hours of 1700 and 2200. Of course that time frame was when we were downtown watching the fireworks and feasting on Street Fest Food.

Today we have received four and a half inches of rain.

Tomorrow we are forecast for more of the same.

The rainy season is upon us.

Rainy season here too. It's been a lot wetter than last year.

Hurricane Alex, left us with a rainfall total of 6.75" was wonderful, even though it made landfall in Mexico, but we are watching another tropical storm build up over the Yucatan Peninsula, storm tracker has projected a Texas Coast land fall. More rain for Central Texas!

I'm getting about 1/4" per day, the usual amount; but its been overcast for several days.
