A better way to read the news

So I'm trudging through tragedy after bloody tragedy on CNN or BBC.com when someone emails me an article from theonion.com. I read it, then went back to cnn and found the next article of blood and death just a tad easier to deal with.

So I started flipping back and forth: for every story of gloom and doom on cnn ot bbc there is usually a related story full of sarcasm and humor on theonion. It's actually a pretty cool way to keep a balence and not let the darkness comsume you so to speak.

Just a recommendation for anyone else getting overwhelmed with tragedy and death.
