i honestly don't buy the numbers. i wouldn't be surprised if half (or more) of them are bots and half of the remainder are probably just the board being broken.

i've only seen the numbers drastically change a handful of time. you are most likely right. it would be a sad state to be fixed upon false numbers.

There are probably 4 of us viewing!

I had never had a casserole until I was an adult. Like, I had heard tell of them, but then I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner with my brother's wife, and he took me aside and was like, "Dude just... just accept it. She's gonna make like 4 casseroles."

I was like, "I always wondered what the hell those were."

So I start cooking with her- and a casserole is the laziest form of cooking I've ever seen. You just put a bunch of shit into a baking pan- that you apparently need every goddamn measuring cup in the house to do, because you've never heard of rinsing a measuring cup, and then put it under the turkey.

That's all it is. Anything can be a casserole. Broccoli and rice in a pan? Casserole. Green beans and bread crumbs in a pan? Casserole. Chicken pot pie but you're too fucking lazy to roll out a pie crust? You got yourself a casserole, my friend.

The results we had might not generalize, but they were really weird to me. Men and children did not enjoy the casseroles, of which she made like 4. Kids said that they looked like "throw up" and wouldn't even try them despite being threatened and told that they had to apologize to sister-in-law for being a little bitch. Women folk loved the shit out of the casseroles. Is there a gender bias in casserole eating? I don't know, but it sure as hell worked out that way in my experience.

chile relleno casserole, because chile rellenos are too much of a mess on their own. ground beef, corn, green chiles, onions, cheese and egg layered. i don't make many casseroles, but the ones i do get eaten up.

i was with a woman this weekend who feels the need to talk about vomiting when other people are eating. she is a fucking food terrorist. i decided that she feels such guilt about what she puts into her own body that she feels the need to share that negativity with others and make them miserable as well. it was exhausting.

In the upper Midwest, the casserole is king! Green bean is the only casserole I dig. I found an old church cookbook from some Minnesotain church. The whole thing was nothing but casseroles. I had to buy it. You never know when a gross casserole will be needed.

I lied! I love the chili relleno one too! Good fresh pablanos make a huge difference. We put a layer of pablanos with every layer. It's fucking wonderful!
