While the Huffington Post is as liberal as they come, the stories are real and corroborated. I think the last two paragraphs of the article say it best:

“The new voter ID laws are ridiculous,” said Lauw, who said she has been politically active her whole life. Though she once served as vice president of a local Republican women’s club, she now considers herself a liberal.

While they were at at the nursing home workers probably went ahead and voted for the 5 or 6 people that died this year in their home as well.

She apparently was able to reach out to the Huffington Post but could not do so until after the election. Was she unable to speak for the full two years between the elections in order to reach out to someone who could have given her a ride the MVD or brought an election official to her or whatever the hell she needs to vote?

I ended up not being able to vote in 2008 the reason I wasn't able to vote was because I worked 4 hours from my voting place and worked the day of the election could not get it off and was too late to get my absentee ballot in whose fault was that was that anyone's fault but mine?
