President Musk indiscriminately cuts everywhere in his attempt to offset a small portion of the coming tax cuts for the rich. The tax cuts for the rich are the only thing this administration actually cares about.

And the rich will do with their tax cuts the same as they did last time. They will not invest it in new plant and productive gear (Trickle down nonsense). They, especially in this Trump created chaos, will buy Government Bonds and similar near cash investments. That in turn will drive up the value of the US$ even further making it close to impossible for US businesses to export anything.

100% of any tax cuts should go to the poorest, because consumer spending would be far more beneficial in increasing production.
