8 Inches! Yeah, baby!

We had about six inches here in Toronto overnight. That wet stick stuff too. Shoveling the walk was not fun.

But life goes on as normal.

Well since it's still snowing hard, and you have a driveway, I say another cup of coffee. ;)

I'd come and help, but there's that whole dissonance in the space/time continuum thingy in the way. ;)

My walk's small so I have lots of time.

Driveway and two long lengths of sidewalk here. And the front porch and sidewalk.

Plus the back porch. But that's just to put out bird seed and play in the snow. We'll do that when we go outside later.

It'll be snow fort time soon.

:D
Man. My back aches just thinking about that.

Snow forts make up for it though. :)

Cancelled ours too ... but my wife and I had to work, so I got the two teen aged boys up at 5:15am and we shovelled so she could get out. They went back to bed ... I went to work :)

Going to be in the 70s here too :D
T storms later, the same ones that tore up Tenn. last night

I woke up to -20 F this morning. Thank god there was no wind. Buisness as usuall though, I have to go to work now that the kids are at school.;)

Prediction here is 6-10 inches and wind gusts for today.

It's coming down pretty good right now.
Being a mile from Lake Michigan our snowfalls are unpredictable at times.

Very glad I have people to do my shoveling. :)

well...I woke up sometime around 3:00 am this morning because the tornado sirens were going off in town, and my weather radio was going apeshit (it comes on - REALLY LOUDLY - if there are any tornado warnings in the area).

I watched the weather channel for a bit, and then headed back to bed. I got up this morning, flipped on the news, and the county that borders us to the Northwest got hit HARD by a tornado. One confirmed fatality and 22+ injured and being treated at the hospital. One family of a single mother and her five children are missing: they lived in a mobile home, and it's not destroyed, its just gone.

Spare a prayer or a thought, folks. There but for the grace of god...
