since my last smoke. I only smoke when I drink, so it may be easier on me than the normal smoker. Still, it has sucked and I have wanted to cut a bitch or 2.

I made it a week, yay!

that's whassup. big ups to you! don't give up now. :D

i wish it was that easy for me.

I did it.

You can too.

Go with patches and pills if you have to.

is it normal to want to punch people in the throat? I'm usually very peaceful, but I've been the bitch from hell the past few days, lol

Yes. I am 15 months off them and still once in a while crave a Marlboro (Cowboy killers not the lights or mediums) and during the craving I could donkey punch a nun.

One warning about doing it the hardest way possible- my young friend the purist, had a heart breaking thing to say about it-
"No one, was my friend for a year." The way I interpreted it, [is that] he was not feeling it, when it concerned friendship
because of the ???? [withdrawal?] Do what you can to ease your way- get massages, keep busy with new groups that you can join,
be physically active outside. It is winter, but there are all kinds of places to do a dance workout. treat yourself to great places where you cannot smoke.

Find things to put in your mouth, that are not cigarettes! ;)

Before you know it, you will be saying OMFG! I forgot to smoke, and I don't even want a smoke, anyway!

I get a massage every 2 weeks, so I'm good there, drinking LOTS of water seems to help too :) Been going for a walk at lunch seems to calm the nerves a bit too

Hang in there, you can stay stopped, one day at a time.

Think of it as clearing out your lungs.
