and I'm home on strike.

Actually, we got rained out for the first time in weeks.

I didn't know that RED had such influence with the Invisible Cloud Being.

Well I sat around on my ass playing computer games all day.

No change there then :D

Damnit. I forgot and went in to work. :(

Well, just get "sick" and leave. The trots is an excuse they'll never want to check out.

Go for a walk and pretend you're on a picket line.

Toos in a few bitchy comments about how oppressed you feel.

It'll all work out.

True, I can always say that the IBS has kicked in, due to my stress level rising over the war. Then I can say....oops damn, gotta....get....to....the....can....in.......time!

Clearly a sign of Oppressed Bowel Syndrome. "Oppressed" sounds so much better that "Irritable" (?) under those conditions.

Damn! I wanted to start this thread in honor of red......

Well, I'll just have to give myself the rest of the day off for punishment...

Hmm.... I've been away for awhile, someone mind explaining who this Redwave is? Sounds like quite the card? LOL

Well, since you asked...

REDWAVE'S "Hall of Fame"

1) "(I) am subjected to constant abuse, insults, and vilification here (mostly by undercover government agents and right-wing political operatives)"
On Literotica

2) "I am the radioactive cesspool of the imagination-- and I love being me."
Incoherent Sig Line

3) "You notice further that, even when I specifically point out that he has not denied being "Hanns," he still doesn't deny that he's "Hanns. At a certain point, the failure to deny becomes a tacit admission."
On the burden of proof

4) "Man, when I saw that jet slam into that huge building on TV-- that was the coolest thing I've seen since 1992."
On his delight at the World Trade Center attack and the LA Riots

5) "Bush is clearly much worse than Hitler, who at least brought full employment and prosperity to Germany."
Regarding Bush's push to invade Iraq

6) "I strongly suspect this was a political assassination ordered by the White House. When future historians compile the list of Bush's crimes, it is likely the murder of Paul Wellstone will be on it."
On the death of Sen. Paul Wellstone in a small aircraft.

7) "Is there any doubt that every keystroke I make is being monitored by shadowy government agents? ... DCL is, at the very least, a CIA (or similar agency) 'asset.'"
After discovering that I predicted he'd post a thread concerning the death of Paul Wellstone

8)"Just got back from an anarchist anti-war conference."
On being an oxymoron

9)"But the U.S. military is so brutal and vicious, it even murders its own soldiers! Think of all the American soldiers who have died from 'friendly fire.' They don't give a fuck about you! They're just using you as pawns in their dirty game of world domination."
From his Cannon Fodder (Veterans) Day essay

10)"The wheels have now been set into motion. I will do everything in my power to see that paganangel is prosecuted to the very fullest extent of the law."
On his legal prowess

11) "The ruling class deliberately stirs up and perpetuates all forms of prejudice, all types of backward ideology, in order to divide and conquer the workers and the oppressed masses generally."
One of his hundred "Illuminati" theories

12) "I provide the overwhelming majority of the intellectual content of the Literotica board. Without me, and my keen socio-economic-political criticism, it would truly be an intellectual wasteland."
On himself

13) "I expect to get locked up as a political prisoner well before 2004-- sometime next year, most likely."
On how much the government fears him

14) "Historians of the future will likely record that World War Three began October 7, 2001, with the commencement of U.S. terror bombing of Afghanistan. "
On equating Kabul with Poland

REDWAVE'S "Hall of Fame"

Hm, DCL.... I have missed seeing your posts. I hope you set this person straight.... although we all know how hard that can be on here.

I know your responses had to be clearly more intellectual than his, so it's good to have a person like you on this board. :)]

Does this person still come to the boards at all? I haven't seen him since I've been back....

No one sets him straight. He swallowed the Anarchist Cookbook years ago and has been shitting agenda ever since. After a year or more of hearing the same socialist laundry list day after day most of us gave up and just put him on "Ignore". There is no point at all in debating him.

Go to your Control Panel to access the "Ignore" function.

It's okay, Dix... he'll get his in the long run. After all, don't most of them anyway? I don't worry about people like him... whatever he says or does is bound to come back to him. :) *hugs*

Just got back from lunch, where I told them all that I was on strike to protest the war. The bartender looked at me and said, "rained out, hunh?" You just can't fool people who know you well.

Sorry to beat you to it, Rod, but it just begged to be done.

I can't be bothered to put anyone on ignore. It doesn't suit me. Then again, I'll read sig lines, too.

Yeah, MBB, it's like trying not to look at a car wreck.

"Blame it on the rain . . . "
(Yes, corny I know) :(

Just wanted to say hi.

If you go on strike with me, you won't have to show up.

Oh, you want to ace that class, don't you?

Darned capitalist in training. ;)

Take good notes and learn something you can use to make mo' money later in life.
