This is what I have been saying. And if Republicans were 8n charge again...I would want to leave. But there is no legal way to allow states to leave. So fix that. Give states the right to leave. Then let it be up to the people of the states...stay or go.

Most of those Southern states receive the most federal financial subsidies (they are dependent on them), and most of the cheddar they get the government collects from other, more prosperous (Dem) states.

The idea will stall at the ‘talking about it’ stage, because despite their posturing, obvious ignorance, and cries of ‘Socialism’, Republicans recognize a good plump teat for hungrily suckling on, and won’t risk losing their welfare.
