Grissom/Onazuka station (in my book) was named for him. (as well as Ellison Onazuka who died in the Challenger disaster)

Met Buzz Aldrin and his wife at a quiet social event 4 years ago . Interesting character he still does lecture circuits . Gets around with a 'manbag' with a print of little space ships on it. I think his sports shirt was space related as well if I recall correctly. You just have to find a sort of reverence for his History though his choice of apparel was interesting. ( no humor intended or sarcasm )

Guud Lawd Q that be him . He is not a tall man . Not sure whom the woman was with the auburn hair must be a publicist . His wife looked a little poodle-ish, bouffant blond hair sprayed within an inch of it's life , heavy makeup , tons of jewellery . She actually manages to upstage him visually . He was a day guest visiting a ship I was in situ on at the time and not touring .Hence my comments about his attire . Seemed a little over done considering the circumstances. Certainly did not come across as the punch swinging type , he was very polite and friendly when we were introduced . I had a sense he was a bit overwhelmed for some reason and perhaps mistakenly put it down to him actually being a little doddery . I have never seen him speak in a professional circuit so I have nothing to compare it by.
