I waited to open my gift until I had today's homework done. (Yes, I'm that disciplined, for anyone wondering.)

My Secret Santa sent an Amazon gift card which is perfect becauses I believe there's a Kindle with my name on it now . . .

Glad you liked everything. The teapot was supposed to be an ornament, but I forgot to put a hanging loop on it. I think it'd make a very nice coaster, though.

I think so, too, and since my tree isn't even up yet, it's gonna make a great coaster.

I kind of thought it was all from you and suspected the address from the beginning. Thank you. I really do like everything. I just took pictures. I really can't describe the joy I feel when someone surprises me with a flamingo, and this one was a surprise. I just took pictures, but I have a lot to download from the weekend, so it will take me a while to post one.

You're very welcome, I enjoy making stuff and have been on a bit of a crochet kick lately. I'd made my SIL a flamingo doily too, a while ago, although I think the pattern was different, but I like those types of doilies.

I have the 3d Generation Kindle 3G, which has a keyboard, but not a set of number keys. It's the e-ink screen, so no touch access or anything like the Fire or NookColor, but I wouldn't trade it.

I believe that's the one with the highest rating of the Kindle family too. Also the one I thought looked best.
