This thread is for sharing the joy of the presents that the AH Secret Santa participants sent to each other this year, and to say thank you.

I can't wait to see what is in all those mysterious packages! Post a photo, if you are able.

Once its December 18th where you are (wherever that is) you may open your gift.

We've never kept it a secret before. Everyone 'fessed up on the day; some even enclosed a card.

I just happen to be up this late, I didn't stay up 'til midnight just to open my gift...nooooooo, obviously not.

But I got books! Great books! Good Omens by Gaiman and Pratchett and 2 Gemmells one I don't own but have read and one I've not read yet Yaaaaay! I'm so looking forward to reading them! Also I have a disc filled with photos of owls, they're so gorgeous!

And Flash Gordon -my favouritist ever film!

My daughter is a huge Gaiman fan and Good Omens is her Fav.

Personally I enjoyed his work on Vertigo Comics Sandman series, but that's just because I'm a comic book nerd.

If you haven't checked it out, Gaiman does a great series called 1602 where he writes about how it would be if heroes like Spiderman originated back in those times.

Well it was originally a 8 issue mini series but I am sure it is in Trade paperback.

Thanks! That looks really cool. I shall put it on the wish list. Out of the two of us, I am more the comic person than Mr Penn, although I haven't bought any in a while.

I have whittled my personal collection down to horror comics. I have about a 1000 or so. I also have 40 original EC comics from the 1950's in a safe deposit box. Last time I had them appraised they were valued at 24K. Retirement fund ya know.
