Good luck all the authors!!!!

Reader's CHOICE ?????

If this is supposed to be the choice of the READERS then why are there only 5 out of the HUNDREDS of writers that have posted excellent stories here over the last year? Some of these author's individual stories ALREADY have higher ratings than ANY of the writers chosen FOR US to vote on here.

goodbye impartiality, hello rigged ballgame.

BTW -- if you think your readers all go to the Literotica forum, you are very wrong. MOST readers never even LOOK at the forum. Therefore the voting is of course skewed toward the votes of a small, VOCAL minority of those that actually DO read here.

a good ole boys network for literary erotica -- lol

Thank you A/all for the nomination and votes. It's very pleasing to have just been nominated.

Please choose your favorite poem from the choices above.
Laurel, is this thread meant also for a discussion of the listed poems?

Hi Senna. My guess is this is really just for voting (which is why me, you, and Eve should prolly not be yammering here! :)

You could post a discussion thread in the poem board. . .

There's no way for me to close off posting on threads without closing off voting as well. It'd be better if threads were made for discussion of the award nominations. In fact. I'll go make one now! :)

All discussion of the 2002 Awards can take place here. :) Please keep the discussions off the voting threads. Thanks all!

Its important to note, for those who do not read a ton of stories, that you should always read all 5 stories before voting.

i know it may be a bias opinion but i strongly sugest everyone read the poems my dear lady has written for they truely touch those that do in many ways. An a special "i Love You" to MaLady:rose:  :p

The story "my new executive assistant" will not come up from the link, I keep getting "mum thought I reminded..." chapter 2, an incest story, and it shows up as a blank page anyway. If others are having this problem, this could be the reason for the story having so few votes.

Um, I was noticing how few votes there are for the awards and thought that perhaps it's because on the front page of the website it says that the Reader's Choice Awards are "in progress."

I'm not sure if everyone who reads that realizes that means they can go vote. Perhaps it would be a good idea to say, "Here's your chance to vote for the annual Reader's Choice Awards."

Or maybe not. *shrugs*

I like whispersecret's idea...

but i think that for the most part, people who were going to vote already have.

sigh.

Whoa!

I'm nominated?!? Wow..thank you! Guess that's motivation to keep writing, huh? Thanks again. Cheers, C.

Is plagiarism allowed on Literotica?

I protest that the nomination of “Aunt Sue”
is attributed to ‘optikal’ as author. It has
long been known in the genre as part of a pair
of stories by the great writer DayDreamer.
There is plenty of proof of this and I would
be glad to supply it if needed. I’m glad the
story is posted because everyone interested
in mother/son incest should know of and
have the opportunity to read Daydreamer’s
very erotic works.

Author and story have been removed from both the voting and the site. :)

I've gotten a chance to read some quality work through these awards nominations. Congrats to all the nominees, and thank you to the readers who voted for my work--the nominations are much appreciated.

Best to all,
RS

OUR THANKS

There is still plenty of time left for voting and the outcome is far from certain, but our thanks to those that have voted thus far! Regardless of the outcomes, we want thank each and every person that has taken the time to vote in ALL categories. We don't fancy ourselves as anything special and are thrilled just to have been nominated and appreciate the support we have received.:)

Our best to all of the writers and thanks again to the readers and listeners,

bearlee(Lee & Dawn)

Ah well, maybe next year for me.

Good luck to all others. There are some really top stories on this site! Keep up the good work! We're all winners in a way, if we have such active imaginations and we know how to put them into words.
