My thanks to those who have nominated and voted for in the best erotic and non-erotic poems category

Never did I actually think that the very first story I published on this site would do as well as it did. It continues to blow my mind that myself, a rookie to Literotica, would have a story be nominated for the Reader's Choice Awards. Tremendous, soul-rending thanks to each and every single person that read and rated my story, you guys are unbelievable.

That's pretty damn cool. Congratulations.

Absolutely blown away to be nominated in the Review and Essay category.

It's a cliche to claim that it's an honor just to be nominated, but for me it really is.

I came here years ago to read erotica, and that evolved into building up the courage to write and share some of my own. Every time I find out that ANYTHING I've written has entertained someone even a little bit I'm delighted.

I love Literotica!

Wow thanks for the nomination! Not at all the chapter I expected to be nominated, but I guess I wasn't the paragon of activeness in 2022 haha... I'm continually surprised and touched by the support my readers have shown me over the last couple years since I went from "brand-new writer" to "brand-new writer with a terrible sleep schedule". Thanks again, and feel free to check out my story! It's nominated for Erotic Horror, so suffice to say, the themes and scenes aren't going to be for everyone, and even though chapter 7 was nominated, I'd suggest starting at the beginning if you're interested, of course. Thanks for reading and good luck to all the amazing nominees!

Hello, I can't understand one thing. I nominated two characters, one for female (Zehra) and one for male (Logan) competition, but only he got the spot in the award. I was the only one nominating her, but a lots of other females had one nominations as well.

Very grateful (and surprised!) to have a story "Before Nude Day" nominated in the Most Literary--Genre Transcending Category. Many thanks and good luck to all! Especially thankful to Literotica for proving this space to upload our stories.

Almost three years ago I decided to write a story for Literotica. It’s porn writing. How hard could it be, right?

Harder than you think, kids!

After lots of head banging and frustrating moments I launched Little Packages. And to my surprise and delight it was well received. And the encouragement I got from people made me keep writing. It took 13 chapters and 260,000 words but I got to tell my story. And I was proud of what I accomplished. Finishing something you started is not easy.

I’m thrilled I can now have sprinkles on my cake and say I’m an award-nominated smut writer. I’ve been grinning like an idiot since I found out Chapter 13 of Little Packages is nominated in the Mature category.

Also thrilled that Kitten is listed as one of the sexiest female characters. She’s off blushing somewhere right now.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to grade my stories and leave a kind (and sometimes entertainingly unkind) comment. Best of luck to everyone nominated this year.

Thank you so much for the nomination in the Gay Male category, for my story "Damaged." I am surprised and deeply moved by this, especially since the story is partly based on events from my own life and means a lot to me to have it featured on Literotica. The person who inspired the character Jay is now happily married, serving as living proof that even the greatest trauma can be overcome with support and love.

Thanks to the readers for appreciating this story, and congratulations to all the other authors for their nominations. May the best story win! :D

>>>How Story & Poem Category Nominees Are Decided:

On the 15th of every month, we tally up the votes from stories submitted during the previous month. The story in each category with the best voting score compared to all other stories submitted that month is automatically eligible for that year's Literotica Author Awards voting. These are posted every month on the Literotica Member Page. (Follow the Literotica account to receive notifications of contests!)

At the end of the year, we have 12 nominees in each category. The 5 stories in each category with the best voting scores at the end of the year will go on to the final voting. One will be selected in each category – by voting in this contest – as the top story for that year. If there are less than 5 nominees in a category, the top scoring submissions in that category during the calendar year become eligible.

If a single author had duplicate nominations in a category, we choose only the top scoring story as eligible in order to give more authors a chance to be read & appreciated. If there are less than 5 nominees in a category, multiple submissions from the same author may be eligible. Stories with 50 or more votes are given priority.

Turning off voting on a submission at any point during the year disqualifies the submission from any and all contests or awards, as does removing submissions or membership from the site.

The Special Category Nominees were selected by the nominating process that took place here. In the case of a tie, the authors who contributed the most stories and poetry during the year received the nomination. Author self-nominations are excluded from the tally in the case of a tie.<<<

Wonderfully surprised to find myself amongst the nominees for Sexiest Male Character! Happy that it's Logan, as I had great fun writing his dialogue with his love interest, Zehra, in Games Night!

This is so awesome and so touching to have one of my stories nominated! For everyone who has read and rated any of my works, Thank you so much! When I first started writing last year, I never would have thought my stories would be so well received. Also, congratulations to all of the other authors who have been nominated, good luck to you all.

I wrote my first story for Lit, White Knighting, in fit of desperation and inspiration. I wanted to see a story about a trans protagonist whose life felt like that of mine and my friends, and who fell in love and lust in as real a way as I could imagine.

Now Hester is nominated for Sexiest Transgender Character! I’m so proud of her, my beautiful, nerdy, indie rock English rose!

Vote for her if you must, but more than that read stories by other trans writers. We love writing for you and want to welcome you to our silly proud little corner!

Congrats to all authors who had content nominated. Its a great feeling that I'm sure we all share. I'd like to thank my community of readers for their support.

I'm forever grateful to share my stories with you, and I'm looking forward to seeing the response to my new project.

Peace out. Stay awesome.
