Interesting statistic. We have public sector jobs and private sector jobs. Public sector jobs have dropped by about 9% and there is no recovery there.

And many of the people who dropped out of looking for work refused to see the writing on the wall about their jobs and did nothing to change.

Many also went on social security disability.
