Republicans fumbled the reaction so they don't get to make any Covid decisions. We're leaving it to the grown-ups.

Trump has stuck to the refrain no matter what has been happening with the pandemic.
Since February, the President has declared at least 38 times that Covid-19 is
either going to disappear or is currently disappearing.


 
And here is the difference between governing from a standpoint of what is good for the populous and opposing something because the other party introduced it. A good politician can look at a situation and be opposed to it, then change their mind because they were convinced by the evidence that the proposed bill is beneficial.

We need a few (actually more than a few) like that from the conservative branch of congress. Unfortunately, we haven't seen that kind of thing from them in a number of years. Is it any wonder nothing gets done in congress?
