I can see the whole valley that my town is in, and it seems I am the only person in town still up.... on a Saturday night!
Mind you, by 'whole town' I mean all 18 houses.
There's more in the next town which is only 5km away, but I can't see those (and I think there's only about 35 or so there).
My little town has a town hall, a country fire depot and a church. That's it.
Used to have a post office/general store, but that closed in 1956.

It's so peaceful! :)

Clean something then. ;)

Silly Oz squaws you get these days . . . .

Farm living is not conducive to early nights.
It is, however, to early mornings
I'll be up at 5.

We went to bed as soon as it got dark and we had prayed for an hour...

Then we got up in the dark and prayed some more.

On Sunday, we prayed the day away...

The closest I get to praying is yelling out 'Oh God!' at certain times.....

But I will admit, our tiny little church is rather cute
Maybe I should take a few pics of my sweet little town sometime.......

Our church was a huge stone edifice that just screamed glory to Gawd...

I yell out, Oh A_J! You magnificent beast!

TOUCHDOWN!!!

:D

Perhaps everybody else is out on the town instead of washing their floors on a Saturday night.

I kinda wish it was something like that. But no... most of my town is in the over-65's age bracket, and a good proportion of the ones who aren't have farms and young kids.
There's only about 3 places with folks around my age.
Tha main socialising around here is at the church and hall, for deaths
