Marquis has asked me to start this thread so that you litizens could learn a little more about me since I don't post very often. For those of you who don't know, I am his sub.

I will answer 10 questions. So if there is anything you're curious about, ask away. I will only answer well thought out questions so please make them count.

I get to slip back into lurk mode once this assignment is complete. :D

Yes, I have a question, why is it necessary to make the windows crack when you sneeze?

You must have the lungs of Lance Armstrong.

.::Yes I have a question .... What are you two love birds going to call your first child?::.

LOL... I can't help it, Sir.

Welcome lovely Im_a_voyeur!

I have admired you for some time.

I'm not going to ask a question because I doubt I could come up with one good enough and I'd hate to waste the question or shorten your time here among us. I will be reading this thread though.

So again, I will just say, welcome.

Wow. We have never discussed what names we would like for our kids. We make general comments about what our kids might be like but the idea of having kids anytime soon scares us both. We haven't even made up our minds if we definately want to have kids.

Knowing Marquis, he would want the final say on what the child's name would be. Actually, now I'm curious about what names he would like.

I knew it! I knew you were C. hehe I love being right.

Hm. I can't think of a question. And since you get to slip back into lurker mode when the questions are all asked I think I'll not try to hard to think of one. :p

edited to add: I sneeze like that, too. I actually have fallen on my rear from sneezing. I figure that only really cool people sneeze like that. The rest are just jealous.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Fury. Very much appreciated.

I don't think any question you would come up with would be a waste. If there is anything you're curious about you're more then welcomed to ask.

Great job Inspector Clusoe!

Yes, Graceanne. I am the infamous C, lol.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who has freakishly loud sneezes.

I'm sure you understand but I get STARED at when I sneeze. I have allergies so I do it quite a lot. And that time I fell over I was in a store. Everyone laughed at me.

Hi im_a_voyeur :rose:

This is a serious question, it is one question but it has components to it.

Marquis has been very honest here at Lit about being bi-polar and some of the down sides of that.
He comes across, to me, as someone who is full of energy anyway.

How do you cope when he is either very high or very low?
Do you have to put your own life aside to support him or is it better to withdraw and leave him to calm down?
He has said that at 'high' times he spends, does this impact on you or does he expact/want you to calm him down and help him to put the credit card away before he goes over board?
Are there consequences to your actions of support once he has become his usual self again?

I hope this does not come across as questions about your personal life with him,
I am only interested in how it is to live with someone who has an illness and the difficulties it places on you.

Edit to add: If I have been too intrusive, please answer only enough to satisfy the agreement you have with Marquis, I can live without answers

Thank you, Shy Slave. These are some great questions. I will count it as one because as you stated, there are many layers to it.

It can be difficult dealing with Marquis' highs and lows. It requires A LOT of patience. I don't necessarily have to put my life aside to support him but sometimes I might be required to put in some "overtime", so to speak. Most of the time he wants me around during those difficult times but there has been a few times when he has asked me to stay away.

He hasn't been too horrible with the shopping sprees. Unfortunately, at the times that he does go a little overboard, he does it when I'm not around.

I haven't suffered any bad consequences from my actions of support. If anything, he appreciates that I stuck by his side during those difficult times.

I cope by drinking hard liquor and watching porn.... lol. Okay, I had to make at least one joke. I guess I cope by talking to either my sister or a trusted friend. There are times where I don't feel comfortable talking to anyone about what is going on so I just have to work through it myself.

When he first told me he was bipolar, (which was either on our first or second date) I knew that it was serious but I didn't realize what I was getting myself into. It has indeed been a challenge but he's definately worth it.

You are most welcome!

I want to know everything but maybe I'll come up with a question later. There is too much going on in my home atm to think of a good one.

I too sneeze LOUD. My son complains about it. Maybe we should start a poll about submissive's and how loud they sneeze. Hmm.

smiless.......thinking about about Marquis and His self proclaimed appreciation for some Designer wear and including your answer to this question reminded me of the Baby Dior clothes I bought my son in an Osaka Department Store. Little pale blue pj's for starters, we never had access to those brands in baby clothes in Australia then , so I was well pleased.

Sooooooooooo Baby Versace hmmmmn and how about this :rose:Rockstar Baby ~ Click Me:rose: have a look at the newborn clothes ......awwwww

Why do you prefer to lurk rather then post here?

Hi KC,

I feel like if I started posting here regularly I would be stepping on Marquis' toes. He actually has encouraged me to post and become part of the community but I feel like this should be his place to speak his mind and not have to worry about me. Even though he knows I read all of his postings, he's pretty much free to write about whatever he wants about me on here, good or bad. It's kind of like lit is his personal space that I'm allowed to peak in and take a look at from time to time.

I also check other parts of the boards though I stick mostly to the BDSM forums. I also check out the GB too but it's like a zoo over there. I go there when things here are slow.

(This makes #3)

Wanted to extend

a hello. I can not think of anything to ask you so just consider this my welcome to you.

Hi Luna. It's nice to see you on the boards again. It's funny that a few weeks ago I was asking Marquis if he knew why you weren't posting on the boards anymore and then you showed up recently. I was almost afraid that you weren't coming back.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions :rose:

I am glad you have people you trust to talk to in real life.

Sometimes when things are difficult its essential to have someone else to turn to, especially if you need to talk about your SO.

No-ones relationship is perfect, but in the few posts you have made (not including the one Marquis did as you  ) it seems you both work well together.

As a side note about letting off steam when your SO irratates you ~ ended up shopping with Andantes daughter and her friends, we ended up talking about men and their inability to appreciate the art of shopping. That conversation included my telling them I found a bookshop, parked him in there and then shopped lol

Couldn't come back for a while. No internet!! *throws random things across the room* However I am quite happy to return to the fold. I missed this place (and my corner of it) :rose:

I sneeze loud, too. I've learned how to hold them in, though, after a really embarrassing incident during my SAT's where I scared the crap out of an entire roomful of people.... So don't feel bad!

Rebecca -- I used to work with a girl who's sons were named Giovanni and Armani. Thought you might find that amusing. :)

I'm going to save myself a spot in this thread so I can come back and pose a question (if all the spots aren't already used up) when I haven't got the tension headache from hell and can actually see out of both eyes! :p
