I've got redheads in my family. Before I went grey there were some red hairs even though I was mostly very dark brown.

Mr Shady has the red hair gene in his family. When she was young, our daughter had the most glorious auburn hair( my hair, back in the day was a deep brown) now I am mostly grey

Ah this reminds me of that boy I sat behind in college. He had the brightest, beautiful red hair. I was new in England at the time so I didn't know carrot top was not necessarily a compliment. But it was to me, and I liked staring at him when the sunlight hits him... *sighs dreamily*
