🔮 What are you doing right now? 🔮

I'm travelling across the country by train. It's autumn outside.
I'm travelling through the hilly landscape and see the wind blowing the colourful leaves of the deciduous forests through the air. The sky is grey and light. Earlier, we had sunshine.
Autumn always makes me a little melancholic. I love autumn. How boring and monotonous would life be without new growth? For new things to grow, the old must go to sleep. How boring would it be if there were no apples? Apple pie is like black tea in the morning. Life without it is conceivable, but pointless.
The train is an express train, but it runs on branch lines. Small villages drift past the windows, with no noise barriers obscuring the view of the countryside, as is the case with express train routes. Looking out of the window at the small lake with the dirt road beside it, one can imagine how lovely it must be to walk there now, to feel the cool, damp air on one's face, to hear the soft crunching sound of gravel under one's shoes, and the train continues to rock towards the next image, the next adventure, the next thought.
To a castle ruin on the hill opposite, past the village with the fair, past the pasture with cattle, along the river...
I like travelling by train.
