🔮 What are you doing right now? 🔮

I'm lying in bed and, as usual, I'm the first one awake.
It's just disgustingly warm. Sleeping naked under a thin sheet is still too warm. I'm not sticky but there's not much missing.
I'm off to take a shower. Window open, shower cubicle open, hoping for a little breeze. If someone wants to watch, I don't care. There has to be a little pleasure in the day and if it pleases someone else...

Listening to the severe weather getting closer. Wondering if I should take something got the swelling under my rib cage, I have grapes?!?, re-loading my meds in the weekly think so I can put them in my pack back just incase, everything of value is unplugged except acs.
Took an h1/h2 but not Benadryl, need to be alert.

sirens went off, Minneapolis in tornado warning too. Some touched down to the west and south of here.
Not sure I brought a flash light, ugh, I need to do better on this bug out bag. Last flash light died.
I need a house with a basement. Thunder just shook my apartment building.

Ok, tornado warning over, severe thunderstorm warning still in effect. It was really disappointing when the sirens went off because when I looked at National weather service and noaa, they had nothing, when I looked at WCCO, which is our local weather and school closing type station. They had nothing. Finally, Fox stepped in, not who I expected, but they at least showed the radar. I do not like the fact that there aren’t people to do these warnings anymore. It used to be that you could actually look up exactly what time it was expected within five or 10 minutes now you’re just in the dark.

It's so messed up that funding has fucked up the alert system that has been worked on incredibly hard for years to be effective. Ugh I'm sorry you're experiencing that confusion and stress over this storm .
