Stumbling blindly after losing my way, and place. Maybe I’ll find it again, or somewhere new… who knows

Pretty much my approach with the rugby; all the kitchen tidying and laundry sorted beforehand so I could watch the match in peace, beer in hand.Trying to get work and laundry done now so I can watch the Super Bowl and enjoy it later...
I love leeks, you lost me with the reglazing though. Oh and reel beer.I make wild boar loin, served with leek in beer sauce and roasted potatoes. I've just made the leek because it tastes better when reheated and takes a long time to cook.
And before anyone has to ask:
Chop three to four stalks of leek, sauté in butter and then deglaze with half a litre of beer. Simmer for half an hour and add more beer. Reduce and add more beer. Reduce again and deglaze with stock. Then reduce to taste.
Put leek in a pot. Add butter. Heat until leek gets soft but not brown.I love leeks, you lost me with the reglazing though. Oh and reel beer.
Ok thank you ever so much. Cook until beer is nearly gone is meaning the beer in the pan right? Not the one I'm holding.Put leek in a pot. Add butter. Heat until leek gets soft but not brown.
