It's 8am on Christmas morning, I'm having coffee while the family is still asleep wondering and when the kiddo is going to wake up.

I was just thinking about those little kid years. This Christmas is different. No Christmas Eve festivities, no Christmas morning events. My daughter and her boyfriend are coming over at 4 to open presents and have dinner.

Different but good. Now I just need a grandbaby lol.

I agree. It's our first Christmas were our oldest was a "guest". It felt good in a way. But thinking about how fast time has passed scares me sometimes. 20 years seems to have passed by in a blink.
