🔮 What are you doing right now? 🔮

Food first, you will sleep so much better after a light meal and a bath ❤️

You’re so right :rose: I just ordered some chicken nuggets, and I will start getting the bath ready in the meantime. I’m really looking forward to getting in bed!

.. know that feeling well... I have already surrendered... 😘:rose:

Nuggets, bath and then a soft warm bed. - perfect evening!

Doing dishes, talking with a dear friend and thinking about dinner.

Trying to get all the lessons of German Unit 8 to the second level on Duolingo before my free trial of Plus runs out tomorrow

Curled up on the couch with a hot mug of Queen of Joy tea and looking through Netflix for something sweet, silly and Christmas-y to watch.

Laying in bed with something I’m not watching streaming on the iPad. Trying to stop thinking about the violent guy at work today, and trying to make a difficult decision about someone I care deeply for.

Apparently 4am is the quiet moment my brain picks to think  😂

Parking my butt in my chair after a VERY long work day. Ugh.

Having the city hotspot for X-mas decorations in the delivery range is never fun this time of year, but tonight was particularly brutal. Insane lines, at least 3 accidents, a broken down public bus and just far, far too much stupid. I'm done.

Until tomorrow night, when I get to do it again.

Looking at German modal verbs.
I am declining them.
I would like to decline them all, but sadly that is not possible :D

Oh cool! May I ask, what's your motivation for learning? Friends, travel, it's a thing you just wanted to do?

I thought about studying there at one point, so I started to learn it. That didn’t work out but I just liked the language, so I’ve kept on learning. What about you?

I live in Berlin, moved here mid 2019, and while I can get by just fine with English I am doing my best to integrate. Also, if I want to stay here longer-term, eventually I'll have to pass a language test to do.

I was never any good with languages as a kid, so now... it's a challenge :)

You ever been to Germany (I'm assuming, from your profile, you're American?)?

I was never very good with languages either, but I’ve found German easier to deal with than others I’ve tried. It seems more logical (or maybe I’m just stereotyping!) Or maybe it’s from having taught English, I understand more how language works.

Anyway, yes, I’ve been to Berlin once about twenty years ago… and I’ve had a layover at the Frankfurt airport :D Seeing more of the country is on my bucket list!
