The airport at Schönefeld was one of my favourites... it was still stuck in the Cold War, while they were building the new airport... very austere Soviet vibes. So atmospheric.

I've been on a tour of the Tempelhof airport, that was very interesting, and still with parts left from around world war 2

The airport map was a huge map in dark plastic blocks, with large relief lettering, right at the entrance... I hope that has been preserved! No doubt now the terminal is an airy glass and steel shed, just like all the other airports!
