Thank you! I had one years ago where the nurse practitioner didn't have the right equipment or didn't know what she was doing or idk. All I know is that it hurt worse than almost any other pain and I felt violated. This one wasn't painful at all and she told me every time she was going to do something. Overall very pleased with the experience and hoping I don't have to get it done again for a while. We'll see!
 
Hoping that the second stray/runaway dog to follow me home on one of my runs gets back to his owners.🤞

I've definitely had much worse than a pap test. I'm sorry you had a bad (or worse than usual) experience last time though. I've been subjected to every painful and invasive test that can be performed on lady parts, and a Q-tip up there is not so bad, in comparison.
I once had a cervical biopsy performed while awake and without anesthesia, and it felt how I imagine a hole-puncher with the power of a staple gun to the cervix would feel. The most traumatic was being coerced by ex-fiance to undergo a transvaginal ultrasound that I wasn't comfortable with, and it felt like being forced to submit to rape. It was several years ago and the ultrasound wands were much bigger then than they are now. I was sobbing the entire time and the tech kicked him out. I couldn't stand to let him touch me again afterward, and I still haven't forgiven him for that years later. I've had 2 uterine surgeries with biopsies and there's really no way to dilate a cervix that isn't excruciatingly painful AF.
