Day 6: A song outside your comfort zone (aka a song from a genre you don't normally like/listen to)

For me, I've never been a fan of country music and usually avoid pop. Lately, it seems the 2 had a baby that is the newer brand of country. My kids all listen to it but I avoid it generally, Darius Rucker being one of the few exceptions. But this song, which might be both country and pop is catchy and I can't help but like it despite not wanting to:

Day 6: A song outside your comfort zone

I like music across a shit ton… no a metric fuckton of genres. But here’s where I cannot go.

Shitty, manufactured pop songs from the 50s thru now. This is not my wheelhouse. And music I would mostly shit upon. It fills me with the urge to destroy and break things because it’s so incredibly bad and sappy.

Why am I doing this to myself? I can’t even spell out the artist name or the song, it’s so fucking bad.

This shitty song is the fucking problem.

Im just a tad opinionated…

I can't even click on that song. I closed my eyes after I read Morgan Wallen. What kind of name is that?

You’re doing the world a favor by not clicking on it! 😂

I googled number one in billboard top 40 and this is what came up. I had to listen to it long enough to copy the link.

It’s fucked me for the day! 😂

I'm not going to torture myself the way some of you are 😭 I like pretty much everything but some genres only have a few songs I enjoy. Country is one of those genres. This is twangier than I'd usually go for but the overall vibe is more to my liking so it made it onto my primary playlist.
