Morning messages.

Gentlemen, this is one area you can't go wrong in. A quick "hello" or "hope you slept well" or "come sit on my face" (reserved for those you actually KNOW) can keep a smile on her face and a wiggle in her walk all day. ;)

I cannot agree with this enough. Nothing compares to starting your day knowing that you're on somebody's mind.

100% this

❤️ This is so true. It’s the little things that stand out.
I did LOL at “come sit on my face”

This actually works any time of the day, too.

Morning Messages. Guys, we love 'em! 💜💗💜

Ladies, what makes a great morning message? What puts a grin on your face and a sparkle in your day?

(Listen up, fellas. It's a great way to get your foot in the door. ;) )

I always like the ones that start off with, “This morning my toddler threw up on me....” 😉

It does mean knowing the time zones though....😊

LOL! You don't know them by now?

Eight hours from me to you et al, 17 hours from me to Brisbane. That's all I need to know.

Anyone in the states is practically in my backyard compared to that.

I know, I know... but when people are up until 3 and the clocks have just changed it gets tricky to slip it into a tight frame, so to speak..

Also, cute new Av 😉

True enough. All of those details can be a challenge to keep track of. Sounds like you need an administrative assistant. :D

Thanks! It was a gift from someone who knows what I like and thought to send it to me. Which is another excellent way to make a good impression on a woman.

For me. I'm not sure it has to be any certain thing. Just something that tells me I was on their mind. But yes. I love waking up to them. So for Mr Sunday.. Time differences are fun.

I love waking up to good morning messages. It honestly doesn't matter what they say. Although probably the most memorable one I received was the one that came in at 3am, letting me know he woke in the middle of the night with me on his mind.

I have been fortunate enough to have been the recipient of some beautifully crafted morning messages. Some were just a lovely ‘Good morning!’ that was thoughtful and respectful to the fact that we barely know each other. Others will touch on something that they know about me, or that we’ve discussed, to make it more personal. But they are always gifts given without expectation. Just bring me a donut and coffee because you want to make me smile.

The morning message from a very close special friend is different, at least it is for me. Sometimes it’s breakfast in bed, and sometimes it’s coffee in a paper cup and an apple fritter. But because of the closeness there’s a knowing that doesn’t necessarily have to be said. Or typed out. That’s a lovely, cozy thing to read over your morning coffee, or before you even get out of bed. I know someone who could teach a class on this. :)

This still works for me. Thanks to Time zones. I usually do wake up to at least 2 now. I love rolling over to see messages waiting. Even the friend versions. :nana:
