Plenty of times. One of my creative content goldmines when I was in Argentina was weekly ‘Tinder Adventures’. I’d match with guys, go through a vetting process (texting, then video chat, then coffee date, then a couple of regular dates) before perhaps sealing the deal. The videos were slick: they had soundtracks, plus chat screenshots, a wardrobe check, socials from the date, and then a solid 10+ minutes of hardcore fucking.

But what they never showed was the often tedious vetting, awkward conversation, and crappy limp-dicked sex. The dates could be especially intimidating. I was literally a 110lb schoolgirl in heels with nothing but a keyring Mace can. I probably walked away from 30 bad dates in the first year.

Luckily the brother of one of my housemates in Cőrdoba was a cop, as was a cousin, so I always had muscle on standby if anything went wrong. It’s a little scary what people will do for money (and sex).
