███████████ Impeachment Proceedings On Donald Trump ███████████

If the House votes to impeach, which is unlikely, the farce will continue to the Senate, which will vote to acquit, thereby ending this chapter of the witch hunt. A few months later, some of those Dem Congress critters, hopefully including the Gang of Four, will be unseated by the voters for their part in the affair and the GOP will be the majority party. Trump will then be reelected for another four years of prosperity.

Since this is just a prediction, I can't prove anything, but this is what I expect to have happen. In Nov. of next year, we will know more.

Still further in the future, the next time there is a Dem POTUS and a GOP majority in Congress, the latter will petulantly bring impeachment proceedings against the former, for no reason but tit for tat.

Being that I am 80 years old, there is a good chance you are right.

Excellent. Your predictions are ALWAYS wrong (See: Greg Gianforte; the Charlottesville Murderer).

fyi: if the House doesn't impeach, there won't be anything for the Senate to vote on

The Senate could always vote on the 228 bills the House has passed this year but that Moscow Mitchell has blocked from going to the floor in the Senate.

Pompeo rejects Dem demands for officials' testimony
The Hill|21 hours ago
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo signaled Tuesday that five current and former State Department officials would not show up for depositions scheduled by House Democrats in connection with their impeachment inquiry.

What's that word that starts with 'o', ends with 'n' and has 'bstructio' in the middle?

Two years is a lifetime in DC, though.

Absolutely, but it does show that some Republicans vote their conscience.

That article is over two years old and is predicting a dead man will probably vote against Trump.

Among the Senators likely to rebel was John McCain, who delivered the killer blow to Mr Trump's replacement for Obamacare, Ms Kamarck said in an article on the think-tank's website.

Yes.

Accept some are going to show up anyway, and if Pompeo doesn’t he’ll be obstructing the impeachment inquiry as a fact witness.

What a bunch of blather.

He says they were concerned about helping Ukraine drive Russia out of their country. Ok, then why the f were you holding up the military aid they desperately need to do just that?

Exactly.

How well did that work out? I mean, exactly the opposite happened much to Putin’s delight.

Given that there's precedent for this actually happening, this may be the most accurate thing you said in this thread.

Putin Says 'Nothing Compromising' In Trump Call To Ukraine Leader

International Business Times|7 minutes ago

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday defended Donald Trump over accusations the US leader pressured Kiev to dig up dirt on a rival, saying there was "nothing compromising" in transcripts of the call. "I see nothing compromising in the conversation ...

So, Putin was listening to the call too? I'm not a bit surprised.

LMFAO :nana:

The last fishing expedition (which, not incidentally, is still limping along in the House, mortally wounded) took two and a half years. Dumbs are going to ask every human being who has ever talked to Trump or may have talked to someone who talked to Trump, or lived near someone who may have talked to someone that talked to Trump every single thing they can think to ask. The point is to scream, "OBSTRUCTION! It's not the (non)crime, it's the coverup!!"

Again.

"You're gonna need a bigger boat."

Nobody that matters, cares.

Pelosi pretty much made that point at the beginning of her press conference this morning.

As for Trump's "I am guilty as sin" performance in his afternoon press conference: What a train wreck. I'm sorry for the Finnish president to have to stand there beside that.

Accountability is a bitch.

It does seem like the Snowflake-in-Chief" isn't doing to well these days. His mental stability is even more shaky than usual.

He better buckle up. :D
