When you're a crook you're a crook all the way. From your first cigarette till your last dyin' day. When you're a crook if the spit hits the fan. You got brothers around, you're a family man. You're never alone, you're never disconnected. You're home with your own when company's expected. You're well protected.

Rep. Doug Collins, just now:

"I will fight this on process, which has been deplorable, to use a word of the majority."

The butthurt continues!

Does anyone know what the badges are that most of the reps are wearing?

"Bigger than Jesus"

Yup. Rep. Loudermilk:

"Before you take this historic vote today, one week before Christmas, I want you to keep this in mind: When Jesus was falsely accused of treason, Pontius Pilate gave Jesus the opportunity to face his accusers. During that sham trial, Pontius Pilate afforded more rights to Jesus than the Democrats have afforded this president in this process."

This day just keeps getting better.

The House committees have repeatedly invited both Trump and his associates to come testify in multiple venues. Does it take a genius to know why Trump doesn't come and doesn't let his associates testify for him? Are board Trumpettes that stupid not to really be able to figure this out?

Kelly from Pa compared it to Pearl Harbour.

And now on to the sham trial in the senate where jurors Mitch McConnell & Co have been coordinating with the accused. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Interesting monsters...

History will take note of what the Republicans do in the Senate. And history don't look good for the Republicans. I don't know if they can dig themselves any deeper in the muck.

I heard discussion on the radio today that McConnell is within procedural rights to do so. Doesn’t seem right and they didn’t go into detail on why it’s okay

I'd be curious to hear about this.

So, if impeachment is a hoax, are the results of the votes today fake news?

hang on... messed up the link. brb
okay, the link stands: https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/18/poli...-vote/index.html?cid=web-alerts&nsid=53064141 but you have to go under what's first playing to click on Mitch M supporting trump, carol burnett's not buying it....

play from 1.05
mitch m in 1999 saying why it's normal for there to be witnesses at impeachment trials

he and lindsay... huh, sure changed their tunes with a president of another colour

Moscow Mitch saying history and precedent matters is the funniest thing I’ve heard all week, but at least he admitted according to the Constitution, there doesn’t need to be a violation of the law for an impeachment to occur.
