how do you shave your balls?????/

i guess this is a message for the guys...my girlfriend asked me to shave my genital area completely...up until now i just have kept it neat...but how exactly would you go about that...i mean i want to do it...but i am very afraid of cutting myself while doing that....any suggestions????

If it's a smooth surface she's after (i.e. not the act of shaving that turns her on), use depilatory cream for sensitive skin - no chance of cutting yourself.

You only have to worry if you cut yourself when shaving your face. If you have no problems there, then you shouldn't when you do your balls.

Just stretch the skin and shave while it's taut. That's what i did, no foam/gel required.

It's easy enough, but if you're unsure then take Cakegirl's advice.

Just use a wee bit of foaming shaving gel in the shower and go at it like it was your face. Just be sure to clean out the razor often. Go at it smoothly & like fieryjack said, pull the skin around there as taut as possible. It's actually not as dangerous as you might think.

Besides the shaving gel makes a wonderful lube to stroke to if your so inclined to test out your new look & feel!

Take your time and be careful. Don't apply too much pressure and just let the razor lightly glide along your balls. I use soap (no shaving cream), and I don't really worry about pulling the skin tight except for along the sides or the very bottom. Once I'm done, my balls look so good and smooth that I wish I could suck on them.

I'd imagine it would be like the first time a woman shaved her pussy. The first time I did mine, I got a small pair of scissors and trimmed it down as far as I could, and then got a LITTLE bit of shaving cream, held the skin taut, and shaved, keeping the faucet running to rinse.....that's about it.

Most definitely take it down to as low as scissors and you can handle. Razors were meant to trim off hair not to fight through long strands of it!

I use hair clipers to trim then a Gillette Mach3. Shave gel is good. Go slow not too much pressure.

The first few time might bother (itch) you, after you have been doing for a while it will become second nature.

Once your SO has enjoyed the smothness she will ask you to stay that way....I know....mine has!

If you are going to shave with a razor, pour about 1/2" of baby oil or plain mineral oil in a small cup. Stand the razor on it's head in the oil for a few seconds before use.

There is an oil based product called RazorGuard sold in some drugstores and catalogs. It's 97% mineral oil with a few drops of oil of peppermint and costs about $6.00 for 4 oz. The baby oil or mineral oil does just as well. I've done this with my razor for a couple of years now. Blades last longer and the lubrication from the baby oil makes the razor feel slicker.

I've also tried this RazorGuard stuff and it does seem to work. And lest we forget a sharp razor is a must! While it sounds scary at first, a smooth drag with a sharp razor is better than a drag with a dull one.

RazorGuard works. Baby oil/mineral oil works just as well and is a heck of a lot cheaper.

Just did it myself this morning, with my shaving blade (Mach 3) and shaving cream. no biggie. Make sure you trim the hair with s small scissor first.

Nearly every thread on women shaving mentions a cream called Magic (available in the ethnic hair care section they say), so I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it here before. I haven't used it myself, but everyone on the other threads swears by it.

I personally have used a beard trimmer (basically a barber's clipper, available anywhere for about $15) to trim down to stubble. After that, shaving the balls was the only slightly challenging part. Everything else is at least as easy as my face. For the balls, pulling the skin taut can be very helpful, and I fully agree that you should rinse the razor after every stroke. (And please use a fresh razor each time!!)

I really love the feeling of smooth balls, and being totally shaved was amazing!! I looking forward to doing that again soon...
