When did you join? I'm thinking I'm close to being an elder because I joined in 2003. :p ;)

And before any smarty-pants-less says it should be by post count and not join date - huh, you're just jealous you lack the status of longevity :D [It would probably look better if I was sure of the spelling].
 
I joined not long after you....in March, 2004. :)

I suppose I'll be needing a walker and some depends undergarments before too long. ;)

I remember, as well. In fact, I'm willing to bet that more remember than don't.

I joined in 2002 and I've gone through several chrysalis stages since then.

There's a very simple way to determine who joined before another -- look at the user ID number in the address bar of someone's profile:

Yours: .../member.php?u=272962

Mine: .../member.php?u=531

PS: te userID number isn't totally reliable in that it doesn't account for people who have been here a long time but changed userIDs -- some several times.

Not really, Lit had been around for a couple years when I joined. I do remember when I could read every post on the GB every day; now I can't even do that here in the AH without spending far too much time here.

I am older than the AH, Editors' Forum -- and the whole volunteer editor program here; in fact that is probably my most significant contribution to Lit because it was a comment of mine that put the idea in Laurel's head.
