I heard about this software that helps schedule your slave's life. she or he has a schedule on the puter which they log into and mark off the assigned tasks etc Doesn't sound too complex, but I've only heard about it. I wonder what else it has. Anyone know about it? I did find this:http://www.dominatesoftware.com/ which sounds like it, but it's a pay thing, and I always try to find a way around pay things.

If anyone has any info, that'd be jazzy. Much obliged.

I'm a bit confused by why this would be sought or desirable. It's seems to me that any schedule type thing would do. There are many that are free or come bundled with your software. Surely these could be altered to your tasks?

I don't see why you'd have that many things in a given day that you'd want her to have to do but I think even a simple word doc would take care of that situation, wouldn't it?

Personally I love to mark things off of my to do list but I don't like being micro managed. This sounds like it could be micro management to me. I'd also rather send a pm, e-mail or im about it then use some sort of management software that seemed less responsive but that's me.

Is this a keep her busy with busy work thing or a I want to run a stable of online submissives but don't want to really do any work on it myself sort of thing? I'm seriously asking because I don't get it otherwise.

I will say I was happiest when I had a moderate number of things to do each day for him. However I also knew these things were doing me and my relationship some significant good as well.

Umm... why reinvent the wheel? If one wishes their submissive to complete XYZ tasks, either tell them, or write it down (or have them write it down). By involving some computer software something-or-other, it just adds to the complication of the job at hand (PYL thinks up a series of tasks, logs them into the software, informs pyl of the list; pyl logs into the software, reads the tasks, completes the tasks, logs her completed work; PYL goes back to the software and checks to see if pyl had done the job, waves a magic wand and everyone is happy), and (IMO) creates an environment where communication is done through a software program, instead of through personal interaction.

If something is to occur daily, it needs to be clearly stated as a "From this point forward ___ is just the rule, and I expect it to be followed" thing. Occasional checking to make sure said rule is being followed, can be easily done through face to face communication/email/etc.

If there is a specific task assigned, then tell the submissive, and make her reporting of XYZ task part of the assignment.

If you want a free way around it and you want to keep a check on what she completes within the day or within a time frame, you could use outlook express.

If you both have access to the same outlook express but are in different locations you can use the task list and when she completes something she marks it off, or writes up why she has not been able to complete the task.

If it has to be done by 10am, you check at 10.10 to see if it is crossed out or incomplete.

Simple, effective and easy to monitor regardless of where you both are.
 
Making things interesting?

Here is a way that BDSM software might be interesting: Have a "wild card challenge" assignment built in. I imagine that even in good dom/sub relationships, things might get predictable. What if, every 6 assignments or so, the program would throw in an assignment that wasn't thought of by the dom-perhaps a "guest doms" could submit assignments to the "wild card challenge"

The problem with that idea, is that the "wild card" assignment would:

A) need to fall within the submissive's limits- there are way too many variations of what a person considers a limit, to tailor a generic assignment to fit the general submissive population.

B) be achievable- what if the "wild Card" assignment needs materials or supplies that are not available, or involves activities that are impossible due to the location of the submissive?

C) would be a generic form of "dominance", rather than a manifestation of the relationship formed by that personal relationship of the Dominant and submissive, in question- thus (IMO) the "dominance" of such a "command" would be watered down to the point of being laughable.

I said it in white in my first post, but I'll say it more boldly here...

What lazy-ass Dom thought this software up? :rolleyes:

Would it be possible to create such a device? Probably. Would it be compelling? I fail to see any redeeming qualities in such a thing.
