To fill the extremely sexy shoes of dsireme would be next to impossible.
To follow in her footsteps will be a challenge in itself.
On that note, kayte and I are planning another Litogether in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 21st. Dinner will be set for 6:30 PM at the Chancery Restaurant inside the Radisson Hotel. For those that would like to get rooms to spend the night, you will be on your own. I don't know if there will be enough interest to try and block rooms for this.
The Chancery, for those that weren't at the last Wisconsin Litogether in March, is a good chain of restaurants. The one in Milwaukee we were at was a bit noisy. The one in Pleasant Prairie is much quieter, and being in a hotel, I think a bit nicer. The menu can be found at thechancery.com. We chose Pleasant Prairie as something of a central point for those in neighboring areas/states that would like to attend.
This is intended to be a get together of Lit folks. Spouses/significant others are welcome, if they are comfortable around 'adult conversation'. Remember the topics we speak about here. No one should feel uncomfortable if conversations turn down that road. You've been so advised and cautioned!
