Trouble With Posting pics

I'm new to posting pic's. Each time I try it gives me a error message that the file is too big. Antone want to help a new menber?

How big are the files you're trying to post? I think there's a size limit for attachments, but couldn't find the exact number last time I looked. You also can't post anything larger than 800(height)x600(width) pixels...so even if your pic is 400x601, it'll tell you it's too large because it exceeds the 600 pixel width rule.

Ok, so the limit for each file is 100k, which I have found to be reasonable after resizing and saving it for the web in Photoshop or some other program (our camera's default is 1952x2608 and around 2.5Mb on the 3/5 star setting).

Actually it's 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall -- and less than 102400 bytes filesize.
