Thought it might be interesting to have a poll covering the various means by which we have met our current PYL partner/s. Seems there are a variety of threads dealing with specifically one means of meeting or another, but haven't found one which has it all in one place. Feel free to relate any details you wish in a post to the thread.

She's not really current at this point, but she was a good friend.
 
We met on the net in 96 , meeting in real , almost a year of friendship , then started living together in 97 and finally marriage in 2001...
 
We met here on Lit last year. we have met face to face, and are working on getting together again soon, but it is difficult as she lives 4 hours away by air.

I met both of them online, but there is no "current" one now.
 
We met online seven years ago on a game we still play.

I met him in person a year after that, at a local Renaissance Faire. (A friend informs us that she knew there were sparks even then, but we were both too silly to notice. :D)

Three years later, when I was in the process of being divorced, after all this time of being just friends, he came to visit me.

After nearly a year of dating, I moved down to be with him.. and obviously, we are still together.
 
I married him when he was 18. I have been training him ever since....lol

I met Him here on Lit in October 2002, we were just friends until the middle of last year when my circumstances changed and we became close.....6 months later I moved to Australia to live with Him, I've been here 2 1/2 months and never been happier :D
 
We got together here on lit, have been collared real life over a year. Hopefully not too long in the future to be living with Him :)
 
We met here at Lit over a year ago, met in real life a few months later, and happily ended our LDR with him moving to Florida a few months ago.

We met on a roleplaying MUCK back in February of 2001. We fell in love with each other shortly after that but it took nearly a year before either of us would admit it. Partly because I was with someone already, even though it was an abusive relationship that I was in.
Then she came down in 2002 to visit me and never left. :D

Wow, we are the loners here (as usual :p ). Depending on which "current partner" you're asking about, we either met in school, or through a munch. Holly and I met in high school, and the boy came from a munch group that we are in.

We met on Lit a little over 2 years ago. Were friends for a while. He collared me over a year ago. Hoping to move in together soon.

Sir and i met at a munch 2 years ago. One of the reasons I highly recommend at least occasional attendance at them!

My gf and I met online and actually Daddy was the one who helped hook us up! (I met Daddy online too.) My Daddy (who was not my Daddy then, but just a friend) played the "go between" role that's played in middle school... psst, so-and-so likes you! to both of us. :)
