We cannot ignore the reality that the black community is in crisis. They have adopted a culture of violence. They have embraced a victimhood mentality. They don't value education or hard work. I really hate making generalizations, but we have made this a racial issue so we are forced to analyze this in racial terms. The Floyd case was the police vs. a bad person. But the bad person was black, so it is now a racial matter.
Sure. We need police reform. But we are foolish if we don't think there need to be changes in the way the black community interacts with the rest of society.
I doubt anyone here would have embraced George Floyd as their neighbor.
Our political representatives are responsible for this.
