ja... you likely pray all the time; but don't realize it. Every aware breath is prayer. Prayer is not to something, or for something. Prayer is communion with the intangible spirit that inhabits self, and all things. Spirit is the insubstantial foundation upon which consciousness grows. You may profess an agnosticism or atheism, but quite likely pray(commune) regularly.

I don't know what set you off so. You seem to be a troll, based on previous posts, but this is complete and utter ignorance. There is a way to conduct yourself when pointing out what you see wrong with something, and your lack of tact and complete uncivility do nothing more than make you look like an uneducated jackass who is more comfortable slinging insults than he is in itemizing his complaints and presenting them in a proper manner for debate.

I am an atheist. I have no problem with a cross in the middle of a desert, I see nothing wrong with religious iconography outside municipal buildings, and I don't get angry when nativity scenes are erected during the Holidays, simply because I have not made a religion out of my atheism; I do not gird my loins and go out on crusades every time someone makes a Biblical reference.

Every culture since time immemorial has had a religion. I choose to view all these, even Christianity, as myth and nothing more. There are parables that teach important life lessons contained within each religious text, and what's wrong with that? I do not have to believe in Odin to know that to be brave is to be the master of one's destiny.

Just lighten up, is all.

It seems like a weird thing to take umbrage with because it's the part of religion that has no real affect on you. I don't know, maybe it's just me but if I'm going to expend some energy sending out a cosmic rant about religion, I'm going to make it with the folks determined to use their religion to try to enact laws, not the ones out praying.
 
If I was a praying man, I'd pray that this worthless toad from Unpleasantville would find something of value in his life beyond being a weasel who gets his jollies baiting strangers in his typical, smirking juvenile manner.

It's one of those things I'm uncomfortable with but appreciate because of that. Like burning the flag or a roomful of kids reciting the pledge.

Like your new AV, btw. Well, it's not so much that I like it as that I like that it replaced the previous one.
