I don't know what set you off so. You seem to be a troll, based on previous posts, but this is complete and utter ignorance. There is a way to conduct yourself when pointing out what you see wrong with something, and your lack of tact and complete uncivility do nothing more than make you look like an uneducated jackass who is more comfortable slinging insults than he is in itemizing his complaints and presenting them in a proper manner for debate.

I am an atheist. I have no problem with a cross in the middle of a desert, I see nothing wrong with religious iconography outside municipal buildings, and I don't get angry when nativity scenes are erected during the Holidays, simply because I have not made a religion out of my atheism; I do not gird my loins and go out on crusades every time someone makes a Biblical reference.

Every culture since time immemorial has had a religion. I choose to view all these, even Christianity, as myth and nothing more. There are parables that teach important life lessons contained within each religious text, and what's wrong with that? I do not have to believe in Odin to know that to be brave is to be the master of one's destiny.

It seems like a weird thing to take umbrage with because it's the part of religion that has no real affect on you. I don't know, maybe it's just me but if I'm going to expend some energy sending out a cosmic rant about religion, I'm going to make it with the folks determined to use their religion to try to enact laws, not the ones out praying.
