Alabama Roll Call...

As a lot of you know I live in the Enterprise Alabama area.I have gotten several PM's asking if I was ok and thought I would just answer here instead of trying to answer each one.I live about 15 miles from where the Tornado touched down and I am fine.I have family who lost there homes.Thankfully thats all they lost.We lost at least 15 at the school and several are still missing. Please keep them and their familys in your prayers.
Thank ya'll for the pms and letting me know you care.
Debra

Glad to hear that you and yours are safe and sound... my prayers are with those who lost possessions that are replaceable... but especially those who perished in the storms...

I worked all night in Enterprise.I can not begin to say how bad it is there.I learned about midnight that a friend and co worker lost her daughter at the school and many more co workers had children injured or lost homes.

My prayers are with each of you who were affected in the storms yesterday.

My prayers are with you guys in Alabama. I've seen the pictures, but I know it's worse for the people living through it.

No, I'm in St. Louis and all we got was high winds. There was a little damage, like a highway overpass partially collapsing, but no one was hurt. If no one is hurt or killed, I count us blessed. What money bought, money can replace, but one can't replace a life.

I totally agree with you.I heard so many saying during the night that they felt lucky. They lost homes, but were alive.
I also saw the pain of those who lost children at the school and the relief when children were located alive. Its been a roller coaster ride emotionally, but I feel truly blessed this morning.

Auburn present and accounted for

Welcome to the thread.
It tends to die out then pick back up though.

Glad You're Okay

Hey Bamagirl,

Glad you survived the tornado's in Enterprise. I'm in Florida and will be up in Dothan during April 22nd - 27th. I've been up there before and love the area and couldn't wait to come back. I've been through Enterprise and seen the bolll weevel monument downtown.

Do you know any places where a guy can have a little fun?

Any good strip joints???

I never been to any strip joints,so I honestly don't know any in Dothan.I do know there is a bar on 84 about half way between Dothan and Enterprise that use to be one,but not sure if it still is.

The boll weavil momuntment is still standing. The tornado wied everything away about 1/8th of a mile from it though.

So where in Fl are you from? I was born and raised in south central Fl.

I hope you enjoy your visit to Dothan.
