Imogen Lane, a stretch of big suburban houses about an hour's flight from the capital city of this far-flung planet at the edges of humanity's interstellar Empire. This part of town is all cookie-cutter suburban nightmare; a group of wealthy human political/business leaders have set up the neighborhood to house their catgirl pets.

However, as revolution is in the air, these bigwigs have been putting in a lot of overtime trying to secure their power and riches, and as such, their catgirls are growing restless and needy.

I will be playing the part of:
Zidane: 19 years old, cat-boy, property of the Barishkov family, wealthy media barons. Zidane acts as guard-cat and lover for a certain deviant member of the Barishkov family, and considers the entire estate to be his domain. He is obedient only to his Mistress, who is typically obedient to her father, who is the guy in charge of all the propaganda the government puts out. That's another story. His mistress has taken to staying away from the house for extended periods lately, and now Zidane is getting a little stir-crazy and jealous, and has taken to exploring the rest of the neighborhood...

First post! Woot!

Minx growled bounding toward the door as Maxwell began his descent down the long staircase. Over his shoulder was a army duffle bag filled to the brim with the necessities he'd need on his trip. The dark skinned wildcat was not happy to be sure as she remained in front of the door baring her teeth and claws. "You cannot go!" she demaned. "You have only been back for a week and they want to deploy you again. I will not allow it!" she roared.

This was her usual tantrums, Maxwell was used to them. In a way he craved them but today was just not one of those days. "Step aside." he said smoothly letting his bag slide from his shoulder to the floor. He cracked his knuckles loosening the stiffness from his shoulders and neck. "Now, Minx or I'll drop you."

"I do not care. You will have to get past me by force if you wish for any chance to leave."

Rolling his eyes Maxwell obligued moving in a swift motion he had Minx pinned against the door. Thinck hands held around her slender neck. "I could choke you unconscious but I do not wish to harm you in that manner. You know I have important business. We go through this enough as it is..." He sighed noting the anger in her eyes but more so the hurt. His leaving always seemed to hurt her. Sighing he leaned in to give her a soft kiss on the lips before releasing her and moving her aside with less force. "Please Minx. For once can we part on good terms."

She glared. "No." With that she took to all fours rushing past him out the door and up the first tree she could find. Sighing he watched her go picking up his bag he went outside and put his things in his car before stopping at the base of the tree. "I'll get you something if you are good while I'm gone. Just keep watch there's talk of a cat burglar going round and stay safe okay Kitten."

"I'm no kitten!" she hated that nickname. Any nickname...

"Minx... please can I have kiss at least?"

"No! Kiss you sergant if you need one so damn bad. You run the moment he calls you anyway."

"Fine... I'll call you when I make it to base. Bye Minx." With that he hurried to his truck hopping in. Rolling the window down he called out to her. "I left three months worth of pay for the pool boy on my dresser, pay him when he comes by." With that he backed out of the drive and down the road out of sight.

Minx remained in the tree sniffing dismissively of her owner. His profession was definately putting a rift between them. While she was still loyal and respected him she had a potent hatred of his work. "Bastard." she spat pouting in her spot in the tree.

Mila smiled from the steps that led up to the mansion's porch. The senator's children, Bobby and Chris, looked so eager to start on their vacation... apparently, there was a theme park near their grandmother's house, and that of course made them squeal with glee when the senator told them. Mila stood there, in her secretary outfit, grey business suit with a mini-skirt and dark stockings. Last night, she had pulled off a few extra hours to help the senator get the paperwork finished before the family left, and some more just this morning.

She was tired... but sadness overrode that. Andrew was leaving with Chris and Bobby, and with his wife too. And Mila knew she would go mad in such a huge house without anything to do or without the kids. She had grown really fond of them both. Staring down at the ground, arms crossed, Mila had no idea what she would do without them. She already missed them...

"Milla?" The extra l made her look up. The two children ran up to her, looking concerned. "Something wrong? Are you sad?"

"No... of course not!" She kneeled, and put a hand on each of their heads. Ruffling their hair gently, she smiled at them, her white teeth shining like her white hair. "I´ll have the house all for myself! And you have a great vacation to look forward to, don't you? Now go help your mother pack up, or she might break her back with those suitcases!"

Chris and Bobby ran to help their mother. Mila surprised her scowling. Mila understood that she might not like her children growing so fond of a catgirl. I guess I should try being more discreet around them when they get back...

"Mila..."

The senator stood in front of her, and Mila quickly stood up. "Mila, I'm sorry to leave you here like this. I would prefer it if you came with us, and so would the children, but... someone has to stay and take care of the house, and..."

"It's because she doesn't like me, isn't it?" The senator looked at her with a neutral expression... and then sighed, looking miserable. It was obvious to her that his wife had played an important role on the decision of leaving Mila behind. If it were by her, Mila probably would be sacrificed as well.

"I'm really, really sorry to leave you here." The senator fished his wallet out of his trousers, and showed Milla a wad of money that probably numbered around two thousand. Her eyes opened widely. "Go have fun, Ok? Consider this your payment for taking care of the house."

The senator smiled at the surprised, wide eyes that greeted the money. "I can't accept th...!" Before she finished the sentence, Mila found herself with the money on her hands, and the senator running to the car. "W... wait! SIR!"

The car started rolling down the pavement, with the children waving vehemently at Mila, as if the strength in their arms was meant to equal how much they would miss her. She smiled brightly at them, and waved back as vehemently as they did.

But when the car turned and disappeared behind the wall, Mila already missed them. She sat down on the steps, and sighed, rubbing her eyes. The following weeks would be hell for her, she just knew it. And this day had just started...

Vince Ergo was late. Really late. In fact, so late that he may have already missed his client, he thought. He was supposed to clean and mow the grass in the yards belonging to the Senator before he went on vacation. He had woken up late, and had been rushing since he woke up. He hadn't even had time for breakfast yet, he was in such a hurry. He ran out the door to his truck, glad he had put the lawnmower in the back the previous night. He nearly floored it when he drove the roughly halfmile the senator's house, and got there quickly, but still late. He sighed, as he saw the senator leaving with his family, and started swearing. He pulled up alongside the curb, put the vehicle in park, and then hit his head against the dashboard.

"Dammit. Why today of all days?"

"Ms. Minx are you going to stay up there all day?" A maid called to the catgirl. She had been there watching the empty street from where her owner had taken off. Now she missed him and had wished she had kissed him goodbye. Oh well so much for being stubborn; she had a nack for it.

Looking down at the blonde human she growled barring teeth and a single claw. "What if I am? You gonna climb up here and retrieve me from the tree?" she shot back.

The maid sighed shrugging and headed back in the house. Minx however choose that time to explore the neighborhood. On her hunches she launched herself to an adjecent tree branch landing gracefully on on fours. Her a tail swished behind her keeping her balanced as her ears twitch left and right listening to the direction of the wind and other noises. Of them was the sound of a van coming up the block it wasn't in sight but she could hear for miles at a time. "Hmm..." perhaps it was the pool boy. Good, she could take a dip when he finished up his work. Maybe she could have a little fun with him too?

Most all humans were nothing more than mice. Only Maxwell seemed to dominate her senses enough to prove his worth as a man. "Good. At least I won't be completely bored." she continued to pout wishing her master would return. Already she missed him...

Kira awoke slowly, lifting her head up and yawning. The sun was pouring in ontop of her, and she got up from her spot on the floor. Standing to her feet, she put her hands up on the windowsill and looked outside. The streets were rather empty... too empty. Throwing on a simple robe she walked out into the mansions hallway, walking down the carpeted steps to see where her master was. Not that he would care...

Kira walked into the kitchen, and she held her bell-necklace in her hands, as she came over to the table. Well, he wasn't in here. She peeked her head into the dining hall... and he wasn't there either. This is weird, she thought. Her master was usually in these two places in the morning, before heading off to work. But he wasn't due to leave for another hour or so. She scratched her head as she padded her way towards the door, her tail poking out as she came out into the sunlight.

The car's were gone... all of them.

Well... staying here moping isn't going to help, is it?

With a sigh, Mila stood up, almost jumping off the steps gracefully, quite like a gazelle... although the analogy isn't right at all. She is a catgirl, after all. And, just as she realised that, she looked up and saw the small truck stopped just outside of the mansion.

Ah... the lawn mower... Mila walked to the truck, swishing her tail this way and that, her ears perking up at the prospect of having some company. Maybe she was too accustomed to family life? As it was, Mila felt like the maid. Not that there was anything wrong in that, of course!

What was wrong, was the truck's driver laying as if he was asleep. Or dead. Or in a coma, or... well, nevermind. Mila noticed he was not the lawn mower that usually came. Maybe they had hired a new one? "Excuse me... sir?"

Mila bent over to look at the young man, putting her hands on her knees to hold herself up. Peeking a bit into the window, she wondered if the man needed help. "Good morning?"

Vince blinked, hearing a soft, feminine voice nearby. He sat up, and looked in the direction of the voice, to see a very feline humanoid. He studied her for a few moments, before realizing she was talking to him. He blinked a few times, then shook his head. "Morning. Sorry, I was supposed to mow the grass, but I got here too late, it looks like. It's been one of those days all around." He smiled weakly, then sighed.

"I guess I'll have to come back when he gets back."

"Oh, I see..." So he really was the lawn mower. Truth was, Mila didn't know where the senator kept his pocket money for this kind of thing, so she understood it would be difficult to pay for his services...

Unless, of course, she used the money the senator gave her. After all, it should be just a few weeks, right? What were the chances of her spending a couple thousand in her own caprices in just a few weeks? She hadn't even thought of what to do with the money yet!

"Don't worry. I am sure the senator won't mind you mowing the lawn while he is away. I am in charge of the house until he returns, so I'm sure it will be perfectly Ok for you to work."

Vince blinked, listening to the young neko woman. Then he smiled, and nodded. "Thanks. I'm a little behind schedule though. So I'd better get started now." He looked her up and down, and then smiled again, getting out of the truck. She was quite beautiful. He wondered if she was the senator's mistress or something, but that thought was quickly dismissed. The old man probably couldn't get it up anymore, he thought. He stretched, and set his feet on the asphalt of the street. Then he bowed slightly, and went to the back of his truck, surveying the lawn he'd be mowing as he went. Seeing he'd need the riding mower, he lowered the tailgate on his trailer. Then he unlatched the mower, and rolled it slowly down the ramp created by the tailgate.

Mila grinned, as she walked back into the courtyard. The gardens were vast, but thankfully there wasn't too much grass. Some snipping here and there, a lot of water...

Now, how should Mila spend her first day free from any obligation besides paying the lawn mower? The pool might do good with a cleaning later on, so she would have to find something else. Maybe fly a kite? There was one in the children's room, but Mila was apprehensive about using one of the children's toys... ah, what the hell. She'd be careful with it! But first, she needed to change to clothes...

Vince smiled, watching her walk back towards the house. Then he went about mowing the lawn. It actually took him less time to do the lawn itself than he thought it would. He expected more grass, but he wasn't one to complain. At least, not until he saw the vast amount of hedges he'd have to trim in the back yard. He sighed, then went back to his truck to get his trimmers. He prided himself on doing his job by hand, but he did have some mechanical trimmers, mostly electric ones. After another few hours, he finished the last hedge, and turned to look at the grounds. He had used a chipper to turn the hedge trimmings into mulch for the hedges, so there was little mess.

Kira looked around the surrounding area to see if anyone was around. For the most part, however, there was very little activity. Standing on the cold sidewalk, Kira watched as a human mowed a lawn, then started clipping hedges. But much like her own driveway the others were barren.

"Where is everyone?" she asked herself, trying not to panic. There had to be some explanation. She sighed to herself as she made her way back inside the empty house. It was more cold and empty than she thought. But it was like that almost every day...

Minx took to the trees once more making her way to the sound of a lawn mower. The man using it didn't take long to clip the lawn and was now rummaging around in his truck.

She lounged in the tree above her tail flitting about lazily as she watched him with golden predatory eyes. This was the senator's house. She knew that much, the pompous bigwig annoyed her to no end, even the children were an annoyance. Always loosing their balls in her yard for some odd reason. She'd destoryed a few of them sending them back in less usaged then they'd been before.

That brought a fanged smile to her lips. Sniffing the air she could tell the children were gone. No sound of them thank goodness for that and the senator and his wife seemed gone too. Oh what's this? The housecat was still left behind; seemed Minx wasn't the only one getting left behind.

She remained in the tree tops for now content to just watch the neighborhood for the time being. Besides that pool boy had better show she wanted to take a dip but the pool was filled with leaves and twigs. It hadn't been cleaned since firing their last pool boy. He put too much chemical in the waters, causing Minx's fur to fall out. That didn't sit well with her espcially when she prided herself on having silky smoot fur.

Minx lounged in the tree in front of the senator's house watching the landscaper do the lawn. When she grew bored of that she had been about to make herself known but sniffed out the smell of chlorine or at least the equipment used for it. She smirked noting the pool boy had made it and hurried over to her house via tree access.

Staying out of sight for the most part she watched as he ranged the bell. The maid answered and showed him to the back where the pool was. She smiled taking to the roof and bounding across until she landed gracefully to yet another tree just off the side of the pool. Lounging quietly she watched the pool boy as he worked, the maid smiling and head off back inside to finish with her cleaning details.

Minx would have introduced herself but wasn't much in the mood... least not yet. She would wait for now.

Bored out of her mind, since her owner was going to be in Rome for the next two months, Kayla decided to visit the neighbors to see if they could provide entertainment. She walked over to Minx's place to see what she was up to. When she came up to the place, Kayla observed an odd truck parked there but thought nothing of it. She rang the doorbell and the maid let her in.

"Hey is Minx around? I'm bored and need someone to talk to since my master left for Rome 2 days ago."

The maid went to check the door and smiled. "Sorry she's not in. The last I seen her she went down to the senator's house." The maid spoke calmly. She gave the other catgirl a smile before she turned away closing the door behind her.

Minx perked up in her tree hearing something up front. Moving from the tree to the roof she checked the front of the house. Some other house cat, no matter she would deal with the neko later instead she remained on the roof letting the sun bath her in its warmth as she remained out of sight watching the pool boy worked. She kept a trained eye on him, noting a slightness in the way he carried himself.

There was something about him but she couldn't quite pinpoint it so for now let it slide. All would reveal itself later.

Kayla sighs and lets out a growl of frustration.

"Typical, everyone decides to take off, while I'm stuck here. Damit."

She lets herslef out, almost slamming the door and walks down the street wondering if anyone was left in the neighborhood.

Vince breathed a sigh of relief once he had finished with the topiary. The senator insisted on animals in his bushes. It was never easy, and his predecessor had given him a list and a map. He referred to it often as he worked, to make sure he was doing it right. The rest was really creative license. But, once he was finished, he was tired. He gathered up his tools, and headed back for his truck to put them away.

"Jayyyykobbbb!"
Rynn sat at the foot of the stairs, yowling for her master with her ears pinned back. She hated to be left alone for so long... and he had told her to stay downstairs until he called for her. It felt like hours ago since he ran inside and hid up there-!
She began to pout, her tail flicking about furiously as she stared at the upper floor. What was he up to? She took a light whiff of the air, immediately worried as she caugh the scent of other felines. Her fur stood up, agrowl in her throat. What was that? Did he have someone new up there?!
"JAKOB!!" This time, a deep growl was held in her throat. She was not happy with him right then...

"Calm down, Rynn! I'll only be a minute longer, kitten," He called back cheerfully. "I'm sure you'll be happy, sweetycat!"

Happy?! What the hell was that he had up there?! Her curiosity finally got the better of her, bounding up the stairs and pushing the door to the bedroom open, her lip jutting out as she peeked inside.

"Ahh, you've ruined the surprise, Kitten." Jakob stood up from the bed, pointing to the box on in the senter of it. "They're for you."

Rynn shot him a glance, peeking into the box, then cooed. "BABIES!" She scooped up the little white kittens, nuzzling them against her chin as she purred... Then paused, looking at him again. "You're leaving again, aren't you?"

"I'm sorry, Kitten.... but you have company now! The twins will be right here with you." He smiled, running his hand over her ears as he picked up his bags from in front of his closet door.

"They can't keep me company with everything. I need you for that... or some new toys." She grinned at that. "May I have the plastic money again?"

Jakob sighed. "I left the card by the computer for you. Just please, watch how much you spend this time... I should be back in a month. Behave..." He smiled as she followed him downstairs, still cradling the kittens in her arms as they went outside to the limo waiting at the curb. "Be good you three." He kissed her nose, then got into the car and took off down the road.

Rynn just stood there a moment, holding the mewing kittens and watching the car drive off. "I suppose I should name you two...," She said with a frown, turning them to look at them. "Angel and Sugar!"

Zidane

Zidane's pacing had gotten out of control again. But what else could he do? His mistress was never coming back! And she'd left him... yesterday???

It had started with the pacing. Zidane paced back and forth, horny, wondering when the hell she would be back. He had napped for several hours and she wasn't back when he woke up, and then he was pacing. And soon he was pacing the whole house. Securing the perimeter. Again and again and again.

Zidane's energy got the best of him. In the middle of the night he was running rampant through the house, bouncing off walls and furniture, and he'd made a giant mess before he finally passed out from exhaustion.

He woke up again, and it was the middle of the day. She still hadn't returned. He looked out the window, saw the van, and the human boy cutting grass (had she run off with some dumb human boy?, he wondered, furious at the thought). He opened the window and deftly flung himself up onto the roof, prowled the perimeter again. He heard the poolboy working. He laid down in the sun... the heat was relaxing...
