I think you would experience visions of your family, and whatever you call heaven. This is would be a dream. Your brains way of dealing with the fact it knows you are going to die. Once everything stops, you'll fade away. No afterlife, nothing like that.

as far as what everyone else does - it depends. your friends and family will mourn you. I think your online friends, it might not hit them as much, considering most of them probably wouldnt know what happended anyway. The internet has a habit of distancing people, of isolating them from feelings. People read each others words, and dont think of the person behind them - dont associate them with the mind of an actual living breathing pile of decaying organic matter.

This is probably one of the most stimulating questions I've ever seen you ask. And since you did, here's my thoughts on the advent of death.

Basically, and without a doubt, we cease to exist in a living manner. Now, what's interesting about the whole theory of life, barring and/or taking into account philosophy, theology, and evolutionary impact, one must ask themselves: So it's just lights out aannnnd...

No. I don't buy into that bullshit. Herein is my input, like it or not fellow reader, and I've had it since I was a child, so no matter if you call me sick, fucked, crazy, or right on, this is it:

One's conscious self doesn't exist until one is born. Or does it? In the womb we are aware of what is going on around us, but since we don't know a fucking thing about anything, like.. we don't even know if we're alive, gonna make it out of the blind spot or not, or what a brain is, we are unable to decipher what it is we are or anything else. Then comes the being born time, we come out and Oh My Gawd who are these giants fucks all around us? WAAAAAA. (slapping us on the butts is to get us breathing on our own, the crying part would take place anyway.. providing we of course started breathing). Anyway, I could write a book about this (and I am), but how can one actually believe that when we die, all conscious or knowledge stops? Oh, yeah, and so if it does, then what that would indicate is that none of this ever happened, at least not to us, but then we wouldn't be aware of it now would we. So.. if none of this ever happened by the process of we're now dead, and no longer have the ability to know about this "world / universe / existence / etc", for one to say "No you dumbass, it happened, you can't take that away", the only byproduct of life that could support that is life of others after us. So wait. Then that would mean that it's up to others to be aware of us having been alive to make our existence one that happened, and .. so fucking on. Bottom line, I believe there is an after awareness of sorts. What kind? How the hell would I know, I'm not dead yet, and when I do get there, I sure as hell won't be able to rise up out of my grave and say to a passerby "Yo.. you gotta check this out".
